This significant ritual marked a pivotal milestone in their academic journey, as they steadfastly committed to becoming the visionary educators of tomorrow. The ceremony was a testament to the unwavering dedication, unrelenting passion, and unshakeable determination of the young educators to shape the minds of future generations.

As the audience was captivated by the majesty of the moment, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗣. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆, the Vice President of Research Development and Extension delivered a stirring and inspirational address and his words of wisdom and encouragement served as a beacon of motivation, illuminating the path ahead for these budding educators.

The atmosphere was further electrified by the soulful rendition of "Fight Song" by Mildred A. Toyogan, a talented student from the BEED program. Her powerful vocals embodied the unyielding spirit of the PSTs, who have navigated the challenges of their academic journey with resilience and fortitude. The heartfelt performance served as a touching reminder of the transformative power of education and the boundless potential that lies within each individual.

As the ceremony reached its climax, 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, President of the Young Teachers Club, delivered a heartfelt message, eloquently articulating the challenges and triumphs that she and her fellow PSTs have faced. Her words served as a testament to the unbreakable bond of camaraderie and shared purpose that unites these future educators.

In a symbolic gesture of commitment and responsibility, the officers of the Young Teachers Club participated in an Act of Commitment, led by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗦. 𝗘𝘆𝗼 𝗜𝗜, Dean of the CTE department. After the long-ride of the ZPPSU enrollment process, the gates were once again opened for CTE LYNXES as the first week of the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025 commenced on January 20.

With the thorough assistance of the faculty and staff, students of the College of Teacher Education were welcomed once again to the University. The first week has set the tone for another productive and inspiring semester.

The College of Teacher Education kicks off the PST Summit today, January 20, 2025! The event runs until January 25, from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Angara Building, 4th floor. Every December 30th, the country celebrates Rizal Day. It is a moment to reflect on the life and legacy of 𝑫𝒓. 𝑱𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒍, a man whose love for the Philippines went beyond words and into action. Through his writings, he awakened the spirit of a nation, showing that even in the face of oppression, change could be achieved through courage, intelligence, and the pursuit of truth. His ultimate sacrifice reminds us of the value of freedom and the importance of standing firm for what we believe in.

As we honor our national hero, let us not just remember his works but embody the principles he stood for—patriotism, selflessness, and hope for a brighter future. Rizal’s dream of a better Philippines lives on in each of us, and it is our responsibility to keep that dream alive.
