19-YEAR-OLD SUSPECT FOR SEXUAL ABUSE ARRESTED IN CATANDUANES

Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City---PNP Bicol captured a 19-year-old suspect wanted for multiple cases of sexual abuse following the service of a warrant of arrest on January 15, 2025, in Barangay Danicop, Virac, Catanduanes.

The suspect, identified as alias “Jeremy,” is listed as the third most wanted person in Police Regional Office 1. He faces charges for two counts of statutory r**e and two counts of sexual assault in violation of Section 5(b) of Republic Act No. 7610, or the "Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act."

The operation was conducted by personnel from the Virac Municipal Police Station and the Catanduanes Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Provincial Field Unit (PFU).

The arrested individual is currently under the custody of the CIDG Catanduanes PFU for booking procedure and proper disposition. II PNP Kasurog Bicol

Isang bagong panganak na sanggol ang namatay matapos umano itong ihulog ng sariling nanay mula sa bintana ng banyo sa isang ospital sa Catanduanes.

Ang dalagang ina ng sanggol na pumunta sa ospital ay nagreklamo umano ng pananakit ng tiyan at kasalukuyang nasa emergency room ng pumunta ito ng banyo. Doon ay biglang lumabas ang bata mula sa kanyang sinapupunan at nangyari nga ang malungkot na sinapit ng mag ina.

Sa kasalukuyan ay patuloy ang pag imbestiga ng pulisya.
