Nov. 16, 2023. I have nothing. No clients. No leads. No visibility. Nothing.

Ganito ako last year.

But, I do the work.

Every day babangon, haharap sa laptop na walang kasiguraduhan.

Just pure grit, hope, and faith na everything will work out on its own.
.and look! Here I am.

Nov. 16, 2024. Same day, different year but with EVERYTHING na akala ko hindi ko mararating.

To you,

Tuloy ka lang.

Next year, when you look back. You'll thank yourself for not giving up..

𝘿𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧?

Here’s my take on this:

Having thousands of followers doesn't necessarily matter

BUT, having a 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 as a social media manager is absolutely critical than having a large following.

Currently, I have 9.5k followers, but I don't see them as just "followers."

To me, they represent visibility, potential influence, and social proof — but they are not the ultimate measure of success.

Followers don't matter if hindi mo nare-reach yung goal mo (kahit ano pa yan) ❌

So, I'm going to be honest about the reason why I started this brand.

My goal is to have a reputable brand which means:

- I want to showcase here my expertise, professionalism, and reliability
- I want to attract higher-quality clients who value quality and are willing to invest in my services.
- I want to stand out from competitors
- I want to build an authentic and genuine community
- I want to build relationships, starting conversations, and nurturing potential leads through DMs, comments, and engagement.
- or SOON I want to sell a digi prod that will help you start your SMM journey (who knows)?
.and yes it is still a business.

My goal is to work with fewer clients, earn more, and have a more sustainable, enjoyable freelancing business that aligns with my long-term goals.

So, yes hindi mo kailangan ng madaming followers but reputable brand is crucial.

This year, I already worked with only 3 full time client and 3 on the sides but not undervalued, not underpaid.

HOW?

> Build a reputable brand
> Attract premium clients who value quality over quantity
> Creating high-value service packages that focus on outcomes and ROI.
> Establishing myself as an authority in my field to attract clients who are willing to invest in the best.

Remember, a successful personal brand or business is built on relationships and trust.

Hindi sa paramihan ng followers o paingayan sa comments.

Ps. This referral is from someone na hindi ko naman nakakainteract madalas but we follow each other. They're watching..

This is actually true para sakin. I spend most of my time since highschool doing things kahit alam ko na hindi gagaling. I explored. And wala aking regrets kasi it made me realize what I really want to do in life. It's because I explored what I can do.

I can draw. I can paint. I do calligraphy. I can play basketball, volleyball, badminton, futsal etc. I can crochet, cook and so much more.

This is what I want the youth to realize. In your earliest phase in life, focus on exploring things kahut di ka sure kung para sayo yon o hindi.

Find your interests, find your passion. Create one instead of waiting.. Because of exploration, maaga akong naging sigurado sa gusto kong buhay.

I'm indecisive with small things but when it comes to BIG things, I really know what I want. 💯☺️

May sumubok noon makipag debate sakin sa internet.

Sabi ko kasi: "I'm not good at painting. But I still do it just because it's fun."

After posting that, a stranger spent hours trying to prove her point.

She said things like...

"What's the point if you're not gonna get good at something?"

"Bakit mo pa susubukan kung di ka rin naman gagaling?"

"Bakit mo gagawin kung bano ka lang?"

I swear, she almost wrote an ebook called "Don't Bother Trying If You're Not Good At It" 😂

Hindi ko na pinatulan. Naisip ko na lang...

Siguro may mga taong ganun talaga yung realidad nila noh?

Na gagawin lang nila ang isang bagay if they have a chance to become good at it.

Or they'll only do something for the sake of being productive...

Well... that's not my reality.

In my universe, I can do things even if I'm not good at it.

I can paint, I can sing, I can dance without the need to become a professional.

You think I worked so hard just so someone can tell me what to do? Hello.

I just wanna have fun!

People need to calm down. Nababaliw na kaka hustle e. 😂

Learn to live. 😁

Some people don't choose to be broke or unemployed. So stop looking down on people, just because your door opened earlier than theirs.

It's my 4th day na hindi okay pakiramdam ko 🤒🤧 and it's hard not to stop from working.

Akala ko okay na ko kanina, looks like bumalik ulit kasi pinilit ko mag work, syempre--it's Monday.

Pero aaminin ko, kasalanan ko din naman, kasi ilang araw na masakit ulo ko and my eyes pero iniignore ko lang.

And yung screen time ko every day is 13hrs. Hirap kapag SMM 🥹 hindi maiwasan na magbabad sa socmed. (+Netflix)

And now, I'm considering an eye checkup kasi baka nga malabo na mata ko.

Years na din akong babad sa laptop. Di na kaya ng anti rad lang.

Lesson learned?

Do not ignore the signs. Kasi pag inignore mo, magkakasakit ka, worse mas lalo ka di makkpag work.

Na prolong pa.

Hopefully gumaling na ako tom. 🤧

Ps. 8 hrs na lang screentime ko today. What's the ideal ba?

Your personal brand is not your grid.

Your personal brand is so much more than the aesthetics of your profile or the colors on your feed.

It's about:
- who you are
- how you communicate
- and the value you consistently bring to your audience.

Personal branding is about the FEELING you leave people with, not just the visuals they see.

It's how your audience feels after reading your posts, watching your videos, or engaging with your stories.

If it doesn't:

- You're forgettable
- You risk losing authenticity
- They won't see you as trustworthy
- You won't attract a loyal community

Your content should aim to create MOMENTS that matter, even if it's just one person at a time. 💯
