Raising kids today is not easy. The world is different now—gadgets, social media, and all sorts of influences are shaping our children’s minds at an early age. Bilang magulang, tayo ang unang g**o, unang gabay, unang proteksyon ng ating mga anak.

Yes, we want to give them everything we never had before, but that doesn’t mean saying yes to everything. Proper discipline is key. Hindi masamang tumanggi, hindi masamang magtakda ng limitasyon. Minsan masakit sa atin bilang magulang to see them disappointed, but we have to remember—this is for their future.

Ang gadgets, kung walang tamang limitasyon, pwedeng makasira hindi lang sa mata kundi pati sa emosyon, sa ugali, at sa pananaw nila sa buhay. If we allow them to use it, let’s set rules. Let’s check their chats, their gallery, their passwords—not because we don’t trust them, but because we want to protect them. Huwag nating hayaang iba ang magpalaki sa ating mga anak—tayong mga magulang ang dapat maghubog ng kanilang pagkatao.

Parenting today is a battle. But it’s a battle worth fighting. Let’s guide them, discipline them, and most of all, let’s love them enough to say NO when needed. Because one day, they will thank us for it. ❤️
