Our Story

Roden Longcop is a Visual Artist based in Taguig City, Philippines. He does realistic portraits, still life, and other artworks using Colour Pencils, Charcoal, and Graphite. On this page he shares photos and videos of his artworks, tutorials, and art-related adventures.

He is into art ever since he was a kid but it was just on December 13, 2013 when he realized that he can earn extra income in commissioning portraits. He was still in college that time and he could use some extra allowance for his studies and buy art materials as well.

He started by posting videos and photos of his artworks on Facebook -- people liked it, but most of them wanted to have their portraits for free. He continued doing commissions until he met real clients who are willing to pay for their portraits. On top of that, he was also making fan art for his favorite celebrities, joining art competitions online, and making 3D artworks.

In 2014, he won an online Art Competition of Faber-Castell Germany. The most memorable prize he received was a hand-written letter from the Manager of Faber-Castell Germany -- it inspired him to do better in his craft and explore more techniques in drawing.
