People cheat, can't settle for what they have, and crave attention, always thinking others have it better. People act like they're something they're not.

We need to put our phones down and focus on what's in front of us, realizing how lucky we are. Stop giving attention to those who don't deserve it and focus on the ones who do.

Education Is An Asset

I never knew education was an asset until education gave me a job and started generating income.

Education gave you knowledge. Industry employs you for the knowledge you acquired.

The years of study was essentially accumulation of knowledge that only a matter of time would generate cash for you.

Education is an asset. Don't be deceived by the material world.

I had deprived myself of a decent meal and proper rest as I was chasing for knowledge in someone's else land. I had to eat what's available for a day while keeping my head fixed on my study.

I had to generate a source of motivation within to keep me going. I made my room at the college as my mess, library, accommodation, canteen, meeting room, and basically a utility facility.

The photo below captures me and my childhood brother Joshua Honnes in Lodge 8 at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, Lae.

Education is an asset. Don't play with it. You need the right kind of knowledge to generate the right experience that makes you marketable.

At age 20, 21+ are not easy , you lose friends, facing financial crisis, having dreams but cannot fulfill them, you fall, you fail, you hit reality, make mistakes , you lose yourself .
you see your parents getting older, having low grades and then in the end everyone hates you and you can't do anything 💔. I'm at this stage 🙂

MAN STARTIM YAH LO APO COUNTRY

I was exposed to photography in 1974 at the Goroka Technical School by my science teacher, Mr. John Willinson as an option class.

I took fottos using a 135 camera Fuji 110, and Kodak Polaroid. We developed black & white fottos under low light in the science lab. The interest for fottograffy stuck with me.

Fast forward to 2016, I bought my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 and have been at it since. In 2018, I added a second hand Canon EOS 1D Mk III to my fottograffy gadgets.

I am not competing with anyone. I love fottograffy and I do it at my pace - not for money or not for fame.
