📍Desa Potato Head

🍹 Potato Head is one of the famous beach clubs around Seminyak where you can chill the whole day.
⛱️ You can get a sunny mattress on the grass for 2,000,000IDR (~7,500PHP) minimum spend for 2 pax.
🍴 Or like us, you can just go there for some drinks while watching the sunset on one of their tables. ☺️

After walking around Seminyak, we googled where we can get some good iced coffee. There are a lot of recommendations of course but we went to the one nearest with the top reviews. Hidden in a quiet narrow alley, we were really sure at one point that Revolver Bali was a sketchy place. But it was like a whole new world inside and YES, they really have good coffees! ☕️

📍Hotel Mexicola

Hotel Mexicola’s party should definitely be part of your Bali list. The vibes, DJ and food are all good! There’s a dance floor in the middle too. But if you’re not into dancing and all, there are pretty corner tables and a whole mezzanine to just sit and chill.

Our West Nusa Penida Day Tour 🏝️

If you’re from or have been to the Philippines, don’t expect too much here. Some đó snorkeling here tho.

🌊 Angel’s Billabong & Broken Beach
Such a pretty sight especially with the waves crashing in the rocks.

🏝️ Kelingking Beach
The famous T-Rex head island is so surreal to look at. If you’re strong enough you can go try hike it down, your life at risk of course.

Do we still recommend to see Uluwatu Temple despite being very touristy?

Definitely!

The view here is gorgeous especially during sunset. It is also the perfect place to watch the traditional Balinese dance, Kecak dance, with the Indian Ocean as your backdrop. The monkeys here tho are the naughtiest. They steal and destroy hats, sunglasses, water bottles, and others they find pleasing. 🙈

Bali has a lot of Instagram vs Reality spots and we really don’t mind since we love taking cute travel photos, but Handara Gate is the real shocker for us. 😂

We thought its another beautiful gate in a pretty temple but it was not. It’s LITERALLY JUST A GATE to a resort. 😂 Good thing, we arrived earlier than the tourist buses that we only shared it with another couple. Paul and I would definitely not line up again for hoursss for another gate photo after our Lempuyang experience. 😅😊

We still definitely recommend this if you’re taking a North Bali tour but skip it if the queue will take hours.

Entrance Fee: 30,000IDR (+ on top fee when you’ll fly a drone)

📍Satria Coffee Plantation

It was such an experience to try the famous “Luwak Coffee” of Bali. We got to tour the coffee plantation and learned the process of making a coffee. They also have a complimentary taste of their different teas and Bali coffee! Definitely a must when going to Bali.

We paid 50,000IDR (~200PHP) for the Luwak Coffee.

🍳 Even though that it is famous for its breakfast, it’s also a good dinner place!
🍕 We went on a Sunday and ordered their Buy 1 Take 1 pizza which was super good!
🛋️ It was crowded on a weekend night but we didn’t wait too long to be seated.

🐟 One of the Instagram destination in Bali that is famous for a cute photos with the kois
🚗 It is a few minutes away from Lempuyang Temple so they usually go together on East Bali tours.

🌋 A must staycation hotel with a beautiful infinity pool and overlooking view of Taal Volcano.
👙 The pool is not heated so you can’t stay too long because of the freezing water.
💸 We find the rooms & amenities overpriced. It’s simple and small to cost more than 10k+/night.
⏰ We went on a weekend and the crowd is manageable. We were still able to have the pool on our own.
🚗 Wide parking & good location (near Sky Ranch)
🏨 The hotel has in-house spa & gym.
🍴 The breakfast buffet inclusion is good.

🍂 A Bali vibes cafe inside a big alfresco restaurant that offers pastries and drinks. Super cute ng ambiance especially sa rooftop tables nila.
☕️ What we tried: match latte (P185), spanish latte (P195), & white mocha (P185). The matcha is on the creamy side, wala masyadong kick, white mocha is too sweet for our preference but the spanish latte is good!
💸 We find their coffees expensive pero ganun ata talaga presyuhan around Silang & Tagaytay.

📍New Liwa

☕️ A very beach vibes cafe in Liwliwa, Zambales that offers good coffee too (best so far for us around Liwliwa)
☕️ I loved their sea salt latte most. Their Spanish latte is too strong for my preference.
🍳 They have rice meals and sandwiches too! Naenjoy ko yung longganisa nila.
