October 25, 2024 — The Special Action Force (SAF) continues to respond to the aftermath of Tropical Storm "Kristine," conducting clearing operations in Iloilo and Negros Occidental.
In Sagay City, Negros Occidental, personnel from H6SAB and 65SAC of 6th Special Action Battalion (6SAB) worked tirelessly to remove fallen trees in Purok Saging, Poblacion II. Meanwhile, a team from 62SAC, 6SAB collaborated with residents in Brgy. Poblacion, Dueñas, Iloilo, to clear debris and assist in recovery efforts.
Search and rescue teams from SAF's line companies remain on alert status, ready to respond to any emergency situation.

The 9th Special Action Battalion (9SAB) of the Special Action Force (SAF) has successfully rescued and evacuated an estimated 13,514 individuals in Bicol Region.
The 9SAB, in coordination with DZRH, conducted search and rescue operations and distributed food packs in Naga City, Albay. Meanwhile, the 93rd Special Action Company (93SAC) continues to conduct search and rescue operations in Libon, Albay.

SAF Relief Operations Continue Amid Tropical Storm "Kristine"
Bataan — On October 25, 2024, personnel from 22SAC, 2nd Special Action Battalion of SAF actively conducted relief operations, road clearing, and bridge monitoring at Tarias and Pulang Lupa Bridges in Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City.
While personnel from 23SAC, 2SAB assisted the DPWH-Bataan and local officials in clearing fallen tree branches in Brgy. Poblacion, Morong, Bataan.
Further, SAF’s line units remain in close coordination with local government agencies and disaster response teams.

SAF Continues Relief and Recovery Efforts in Batangas
Batangas — On October 25, 2024, SAF personnel from the 151st SAC of Force Support Battalion, and SAFTB conducted clearing activities and search-and-rescue operations alongside the Maritime Group and local officials to distribute relief goods to residents in Brgy. Ayao-Ihao, Lemery.
In a separate operation, a combined team of 34 personnel from the 81SAC, 82SAC, and 83SAC of Rapid Deployment Battalion conducted clearing operations in Nyogan, Laurel, Batangas.
SAF remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of communities affected by the storm and will continue to assist in recovery efforts across the region.

SAF Mobilizes Relief Efforts for Tropical Storm "KRISTINE"
Taguig City- On October 25, 2024, the Special Action Force (SAF) continues to deploy personnel and resources to assist communities affected by Tropical Storm "KRISTINE." Twenty personnel from the 74th Special Action Company, 7SAB were sent to Pasig City to help the CDRRMO distribute 3,808 relief packs to 1,301 evacuees. Meanwhile, 18 personnel from the 75th SAC, 7SAB assisted in evacuating 176 families in Las Piñas City.
SAF also deployed six vehicles and various search and rescue (SAR) equipment to support operations.
The SAF remains committed to supporting communities affected and will continue to collaborate with local government units to ensure that assistance reaches those in need.

SAF in Action: Search and Rescue Initiatives During Typhoon Kristine
As Tropical Storm Kristine intensifies, SAF remains unwavering in its commitment to protect our communities. On October 24, 2023, personnel from the 10th Special Action Battalion conducted vital assessments in flood-prone areas, continuously monitored water levels in the areas of Occidental and Oriental Mindoro. Additionally, personnel of this Unit also successfully facilitated the evacuation of 12 individuals (four families) in collaboration with Sablayan MDRRMO in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. Through these swift and decisive actions, SAF is ensuring that no one is left behind. Together, we confront the storm, standing strong to safeguard our fellow citizens.

As Typhoon Kristine swept through Bicol and nearby regions, the 9th SAB launched extensive Search and Rescue and road clearing operations. Teams from 93SAC, 94SAC, and 95SAC have been deployed in various areas in Albay, Masbate, and Camarines Sur, clearing roads, delivering relief, and assisting local disaster management offices. With multiple teams on alert for rapid deployment, 9SAB's efforts have directly supported the safety and well-being of over 28,946 individuals exemplifying SAF's dedication and commitment to serve and protect in times of crisis.
