Teams and Organizations that will join MPL or will sign a contract with Moonton may need to let go of their WR teams as they won’t be able to compete in any Wild Rift Tournaments.

On the other hand Riot Games (Developer of Wild Rift) that they reassure their players/teams “ does not restrict WR SEA esports teams from participating in other mobile esports leagues, & we empower our teams to exercise freedom of choice in this space.” ChisinX tweeted about.
