Today and every dawn, I choose peace.
Peace in letting go of what no longer serves me, in embracing what awaits.
Peace in the gentle whispers of morning light, in each quiet breath that renews.
Peace in accepting that some doors must close for others to open.
Peace in knowing that growth comes from releasing, not just holding on.
Peace in understanding that my path is uniquely mine to walk.
Peace in the spaces between what was and what will be.
I carry this wisdom in my soul: I am exactly where I need to be, learning what I need to learn, becoming who I am meant to be.
Today and every dawn, I choose peace.

When you gave just about all you had and can’t give anymore.
When it feels like you’ve forgotten who you are.
When it seems there’s no use of trying, or you’re out of strength and don’t know how you’re going to keep it together— catch your breath and just hit pause…
Whether it’s because of grief, fatigue, fear and loneliness, or from being stretched too far, all the brokenness you feel like you’ve become can be tucked inside the arms of grace.
And grace can be a simple calming place that doesn’t ask any more of you than everything already has.
It doesn’t require anything other than the condition you find yourself in and wants to grant you more.
More patience. More assurance, more rest and acceptance.
More reprieve and peace, more comfort and serenity. Somewhere outside the weary walls of an anxious phase is a quiet refuge calling out to hold you it its safe embrace.

One day, I know I’ll look back and finally let myself breathe. I’ll sit there, maybe with a cup of coffee in hand, and think about everything I went through—the nights that felt endless, the days when giving up seemed easier than pushing forward. I’ll smile, not because it was easy, but because I endured. I’ll tell myself, “It was hard, but you did it. You kept going when it felt like everything was falling apart.” And for once, I’ll feel proud—not for being perfect, but for being strong enough to try again, every single day.

Life has this way of testing us, doesn’t it? Sometimes, it feels like the weight of the world is pressing down, and we wonder if we’re even built to handle it. But somehow, through all the chaos, we keep moving forward. We cry, we stumble, and we doubt ourselves, yet we survive. And that’s something worth celebrating.

One day, we’ll realize that every tear, every struggle, and every little victory brought us to a place of peace we fought so hard to find. That’s the day we’ll know—we were always stronger than we thought.

As the years pass, I am coming more and more to understand that it is the common, everyday blessings of our common everyday lives for which we should be particularly grateful. They are the things that fill our lives with comfort and our hearts with gladness -- just the pure air to breathe and the strength to breath it; just warmth and shelter and home folks; just plain food that gives us strength; the bright sunshine on a cold day; and a cool breeze when the day is warm.

The real things haven't changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong.

I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life that are the real ones, after all.

Make peace with whatever is happening in your life right now. Acceptance and surrender to the present moment, gives us a newfound sense of inner peace which gently expands, radiating outwards, sending positive energy into the world, drawing all good things towards us and creating opportunities for wonderful new and endless possibilities within our lives and the lives of all.
