PRELIMINARIES
The luminaries of our institution set the stage ablaze with wisdom and insight. Associate Prof. Marilyn Mayores- College Dean with her commanding presence, delivered an opening address that stirred the depths of our souls, igniting a flame of purpose within us all. Her words, a clarion call to embrace the unfolding tapestry of our lives with courage and conviction.
Following in her footsteps, Mr. Harvey Dulay, the esteemed Campus Director, graced us with his presence, his words a testament to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity. With each syllable, he reaffirmed our collective resolve to navigate the uncharted waters of tomorrow with unwavering determination as a student.
DISCUSSION OF THE TOPIC
As the conversation delved deeper into the intricacies of mental health, Mrs. Emelita Rodelas, the Director of the Student Welfare Office serves as the resource person took the stage, her presence a beacon of compassion and empathy. With grace and poise, she addressed the scourge of stress that plagues our modern lives offering solace and guidance to all who sought refuge in her words. Beyond offering a compassionate ear, Mrs. Emelita Rodelas equips students with the tools and resources they need to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace. Through workshops, seminars, and one-on-one counseling sessions, she imparts invaluable coping strategies and stress management techniques, empowering students to reclaim control over their mental well-being. Whether it's mindfulness exercises, relaxation techniques, or time management skills, she tailors her guidance to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that they feel empowered to face whatever obstacles lie ahead. Mrs. Rodelas creates a safe space where students feel comfortable opening up about their struggles and triumphs. Ms. Sharon Deposa, with her unparalleled wisdom, reminded us of the paramount importance of prioritizing our mental health amidst the chaos of daily life. Her words served as a gentle reminder that amidst the clamor of the outside world, our inner peace remains our most precious possession.
Lastly, Ms. Joe Mariel Mendoza, with her unwavering commitment to self-care, shared her journey towards implementing a robust self-care plan. Through vulnerability and authenticity, she inspired us to embark on our own voyage of self-discovery, armed with the knowledge that true healing begins from within.
Overall, the seminar and workshops organized at MSC Torrijos campus undoubtedly left an indelible mark on every first-year students fortunate enough to participate.
