January 24, 2025 - DepEd Medical Team in partnership with Toledo City Health conducted a vital symposium focused on HIV awareness and prevention at General Climaco National High School's covered court.

The "Be Seen, Be Heard" theme underscores the importance of open communication and education in combating the stigma surrounding HIV.

The event, attended by teachers and students from Grades 10, 11, and 12 where 127 individuals participated in HIV Testing, highlights the school's commitment to providing comprehensive health education to its students.

This occasion demonstrates the collaborative approach to tackling this critical public health issue.

August 16, 2024 - The 1st General PTA Meeting was held at General Climaco National High School, drawing a strong attendance from parents and guardians. School Principal Lifejeana Jesusa H. Longakit discussed several key topics during the meeting. She highlighted the importance of school cooperation, emphasizing the need for adherence to school rules and proper uniform wearing. Mam Life also presented the approved proposals for new Senior High School programs, including STEM and various TVL majors, underscoring the school’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities. Additionally, she addressed the topics of voluntary contributions and the opened the idea about the printing of student IDs. Her detailed presentation and engaging discussion played a significant role in the meeting's success, and the active involvement of parents and guardians was crucial in advancing the school’s goals.

August 14, 2024-Today’s Joint Turn-Over Ceremony for the General Climaco National High School MAPEH Instructional Covered Court and New Bucao Elementary School Home Economics Building was a milestone event. Headed by Toledo City Mayor Hon. Marjorie 'Joie' Perales, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Joseph Irwin A. Lagura, and local leaders, the ceremony underscored a strong commitment to enhancing educational facilities. With attendance from city councilors, Barangay officials, PTA Presidents, and Senior High School students, this occasion sets the stage for future collaborative projects aimed at improving local education.

A unique and special gratitude song Mr. Jhon Rey M. Balicoco personally composed and performed the song, "Pasalamatan." The song will used for the gratitude song to be sung by Mr. Balicoco together with the SHS candidates for graduation during the graduation ceremony on July 11, 2023.
