โ€œMy people, this day for me is the most important day of my life and I want to share it with you, because to live a life of success is not the same as living a life with purpose,โ€ said Daddy Yankee before a stadium full of delirious fans who had come to applaud their idol.

โ€œFor a long time I tried to fill a void in my life that no one could fill. I tried to fill and find meaning in my life. Sometimes I appeared to be very happy, but something was missing to make me complete,โ€ he said, "and I have to confess that those days are over.

โ€œSomeone was able to fill that void that I felt for a long time. I was able to realize that for everyone I was someone, but I was nothing without him.โ€

Latin Superstar Daddy Yankee has given his life to Jesus, and he is pursuing a life of Christian ministry. He says, โ€œI am not ashamed to tell the whole world that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life.

I travelled the world for years, won many awards, applause and recognition, but I understood what the Bible says: What good is it for a man to gain the whole world if he loses his soul? That's why, tonight, I acknowledge and am not ashamed to tell the whole world that Jesus lives in me and I will live for him.

The Bible says, 'Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father'. Now, whoever knows me as Daddy Yankee, let them say, Daddy Yankee in Christ.

One story is over and now a new story is going to start, a new beginning. All the tools I have, such as music, social media, platforms, a microphone, everything that Jesus gave me is now for the Kingdom.

To all the people who followed me, follow Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth and the life. Christ loves us and Christ is coming.โ€
