It’s our first time seeing the Deepavali celebration last week. Also known as the Festival of Lights, Deepavali is an annual religious celebration of good over evil for the Hindus, Sikhs and Jains. We enjoyed admiring their light-up on Serangoon Road, exploring their lively night bazaar, and trying out some snacks!
I used my handheld Sony FX3 to capture this rich cultural celebration. Excited to use it during more travels!

Throughout the shoot, we had a lot of weather issues - low water visibility for the underwater shoot, too much fog at the mountain shoot, and no sunsets for 3 days! Despite these, I was very happy to have worked with this couple and their dedication to complete all the scenes that we wanted. ❤️

Singapore’s S.E.A. Aquarium is quite informative on so many forms of marine life! I spend most of my time in the ocean as a freediver, and enjoy seeing life in the wild so I don’t usually enjoy aquariums. I have been enjoying scuba diving recently. If you ask me which is better between scuba diving and freediving, I would have no answer hahaha I still love taking videos while freediving. However, if you want a more relaxed and longer time under the water, go for scuba diving. Sometimes, during scuba dives, I forget that I am holding a camera whenever I see something breathtaking like the sail fish we saw with Kinsoy. It passed right above us without any of us taking a shot. 🤣
