"Does love develop in the heart or the brain?"

The eyes shine like diamonds, the blushy face, and a sensation of romantic excitement are different levels of feelings when you feel loved by someone and when you are in love.

Most of us will agree that love is an emotional attachment to others, and we feel incredibly unique when we are the center of someone's romantic affection. However, there are studies that will explain that love is not only a random emotion but is rooted in fact, and that lies behind the romantic sensation of falling in love and being loved by someone.

Researchers at Rutgers University in America, led by Dr.Helen Fisher, an anthropologist and expert in the science of human attraction and love, conducted a study on the science of love and found three distinct categories in the science of romantic love which includes lust, attraction, and attachment.

โ€œWhen people fall in love, thereโ€™s a lot happening at the neurochemical level,โ€ says Dr. Philip Stieg, neurosurgeon-in-chief at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and director of the Weill Cornell Medicine Brain and Spine Center.

However, there is no one way of falling in love, but scientifically we can experience things that science can only explain. The International Science Council states that each category is distinguished by a particular set of hormones that the brain releases. After the initial connection strikes, the body may create a lot of testosterone and estrogen, which drives strong sexual desires or lust.

On the other hand, the brain then secretes increased levels of dopamine, which affects how people experience pleasure, and norepinephrine, which according to a definition given in an article by Lucy Bell Young, norepinephrine is a neurotransmitter and hormone that increases the production of adrenaline. When a person falls in love, this hormone causes a variety of physical and psychological symptoms, including a rapid heartbeat, sweaty hands, flushed cheeks, and even a loss of appetite which are all indications of attraction

As people fall more deeply in love, the brain is once more saturated, this time with oxytocin, which is released during physical contact, and vasopressin, which causes feelings of attachment.

When a person is in love, the brain and body engage in a series of intricate chemical processes. Three neurochemicals that have been mentioned above such as norepinephrine, dopamine, and phenylethylamine, are what ignite the first spark of falling in love. But there are also studies that will justify that love not only includes the chemical processes in our brain but also includes the five senses that an individual has.

โ€œClearly, thereโ€™s no single โ€˜love spotโ€™ in the brain telling us how to feel,โ€ says Dr. Stieg. โ€œThatโ€™s why we need all five of our senses to work in unison to help us identify desirable characteristics and guide us toward that perfect someone.โ€

According to Dr. Stieg, when we see a person we consider beautiful or physically good, our brains trigger feelings of lust. However, research has shown that men are more likely than women to be motivated by visual stimuli, both sexes still experience higher levels of dopamine and lower levels of serotonin, which can cause obsessive thinking when the situation calls for it.

In terms of touch, since touching has the power to arouse intense feelings of pleasure, simple actions like holding hands or a soft kiss encourage the release of both oxytocin, a hormone produced by the physical contact, and dopamine.

Another argument made by Dr. Stieg was that the dopamine system in our body will perceive an interaction with someone you find attractive and where you enjoy the smell, in which case the brain will connect being in that person's presence with the obsessive desire to do so again and again.

In terms of taste, as youโ€™ve noticed that people use sweets such as candies, chocolates and other sweets treats as means of seduction. This is because people are attracted to sweets by nature, and it has been discovered that people believe that having a sweet taste corresponds to having a romantic perception of someone.

Another is the sense of hearing. There are many ways to express our affections to someone, but music in particular helps to foster feelings of love. Songs with a special meaning for two people can trigger a positive reaction from each other and transfer those feelings to our partner's brain.

It just serves to illustrate that falling in love involves several stages and is not something that happens instantly. But generally, being in love is more about the brain than the heart. Love is an emotion wherein emotions originate from the brain and love comes from the mind and might manifest in the heart.

Are you a fan of science fiction films or cartoons that often depict future community plans and innovations that are challenging to implement in real life? Have you ever witnessed a car driving itself and flying cars, or have you only seen it in animated films? Some countries around the world already have the hopes and dreams of other nations, and they continue to develop and innovate in order to carry out their future plans. Perhaps some of us are familiar with the driverless cars which we often see on television, and science fiction movies, however the idea of driverless cars is not far off at this point, yet there are still factors to take into account and thoroughly research to completely run the autonomous cars on the road.

As part of a testing of autonomous vehicles on American highways, more than 1,400 self-driving cars, trucks, and other vehicles were being tested by more than 80 companies in 36 U.S. states. The United States of America is one of the technologically advanced nations and is regarded as a pioneer in technical innovation. It is also the place of everyone's hopes, the industrial hub and produced great advancements and global research. However, Americans cannot currently purchase a fully autonomous vehicle, even though some automobiles already run with only minimal human assistance and others are expected to be able to drive without human drivers in the future.

Autonomous vehicles, often known as self-driving cars, have long sparked the interest of the general public. This earlier science fiction-sounding concept is now much more realistic because of recent advancements in sensors and artificial intelligence. Fully autonomous automobiles are currently being developed, however a lot of new cars on the road today already have "driver assist" features.

The potential of driverless technology has long been enticing. It has the ability to change how we commute and take long trips, remove individuals from dangerous workplaces, and simplify our industries. It's also essential to assist in the construction of the cities of the future, where our reliance on and connection with automobiles are reshaped, reducing carbon emissions and opening the door for more environmentally friendly lifestyles. Moreover, it might make our travels safer since every single day, there are different reported car road incidents made by careless driving of humans. According to the World Health Organization, road traffic accidents cause the deaths of more than 1.3 million people annually.

Meanwhile, how does it feel to ride a self-driving vehicle? Statistics on self-driving cars indicate that the current generation is open to the concept of fully driverless cars, with 57% of those familiar with them saying they would be comfortable riding within one. Nonetheless, there are still significant considerations to keep in mind when putting driverless cars into use on public roads. The first is the safety of pedestrians and the potential to confidently implement the premise of an AV or automobile vehicle. Despite the many challenges that still need to be cleared, self-driving cars are gradually becoming a reality and may impact the world in unforeseen ways.

Since the cost is expected to be too high, in the next ten years, it will be less likely for the average person to own a driverless cars. However, the promise of driverless technology lies in freeing us from our dependence on automobiles and in how that can change how we utilize our time and how we interact with our environment. Of course, continuous research and development into self-driving car technologies, laws, regulations, and environmental effects help to make transportation for everyone safer and cleaner. Where thereโ€™s a possibility in the future that you can just dial up the car and it would arrive approximately two to five minutes depending on the distance of your location.

In fact, investors in the United States have put a lot of their focus on the comfort and entertainment of the passengers in their driverless cars. One of these inventions considered an on-board entertainment system that would let you watch movies while your automobile is driving itself. Every mirror would have a little screen so that you could watch your movie while monitoring your rear view.

In addition to the future goals and advancements in the United States, China is searching for flying cars and is even developing flying unmanned robots, which might be used to aid driverless cars in many ways, such as traffic monitoring. In order for the car to respond appropriately, the unmanned robot might fly ahead of the car's planned route and identify any potential problems such as heavy traffic or barriers up ahead.

On the other side of the globe, German investors prioritize the security, safety, and well-being of passengers. Many of their innovations aim to increase everyone's safety while riding in driverless cars. Passenger health is monitored and examined using technology that can detect and identify a wide range of medical issues. For instance, if the traveller was in danger of having a heart attack or stroke. Internal sensors would detect this and change the vehicle's course to the closest hospital or place for emergency services.

Lots of innovation and plans in the future that cover different areas of human needs. As technology develops quickly, there are undoubtedly several ideas and plans to develop the concept of driverless cars in the future so that people all over the world can utilize it in daily life. It is true that modern technology makes life simpler and more flexible for humans. And some countries are still attempting to be as advanced as others while some have already embraced and are living the idea of "future communities." It takes time and research for innovations to become fully operational. The betterment of our future depends on how effectively and creatively we use the resources we have, no matter where we are in the world.

The arts and other associated crafts are widely trendy and can be found in a variety of settings, including cafes, restaurants, and even art museums. Besides, a lot of individuals are exposed to the art world, which encourages them to explore their artistry.

Glossy, matte, rough, and smooth paint are some of the textures that we can feel and observe in a certain paint. Some paints dry quickly, while others take a while to completely dry.

But have you ever wondered how that particular paint was created? Is there anything in nature that can be used to produce paint? Or are those vibrant and pigmented acrylic paintings that are typically used to create artworks on canvas, which are commonly seen in art exhibitions and museums or even used for houses and buildings, require a lot of different materials to be created?

Back in 1955, Liquitex became the first water-based acrylic for artists to be sold in mass production. Acrylic is currently the most widely used art medium in the world because of the broad range, simplicity, and durability of its applications.

Given that acrylic just contains three ingredients, such as pigment, an acrylic binder, and a substance known as an acrylic vehicle. However, some mediums, like oil paint, are harder to work with. But acrylic painting is not extremely complex.

To further understand, the color of the paint is produced by the acrylic pigment. It consists of micro granules that have been pulverized into extremely small particles that remain suspended in the paint without dissolving. The materials used to make pigment are either natural or synthetic, organic or inorganic.

The acrylic binder used in acrylic paint is also referred to as an acrylic polymer, wherein it has two roles. First, is that the pigment is kept in place after the paint has dried. The second role is that once the water has evaporated the paint, it creates a shielding or protective coating.

In the case of acrylics, the binder and the pigment are transported or carried by means of water. A polymer emulsion is created when water and the binder interact. After the water has drained, the paint dries to a clear polymer layer with colored pigment particles.

Since, the acrylic colors dry quickly as a result of water evaporation. Hereโ€™s what happens when pigment, water, and acrylic are combined to create a long-lasting paint layer. A well controlled distribution of pigment in an emulsion of acrylic polymer and water is what makes acrylic paint. In addition to maintaining the emulsion's fluidity, the water also serves as a sort of chemical "chaperone," keeping the acrylic polymer particles from melting. Water in the emulsion evaporates or absorbs into the base of the painting when it is exposed to the atmosphere. At that point, the particles of acrylic polymer directly contact one another and fuse. The pigment is kept in place by a stable hexagonal structure created by the clear polymer particles. Consequently, a paint film that is exceptionally stable, water-resistant, permanent, and vibrant is produced.

According to Liquitex, a US company that provides art supplies and focuses exclusively on the development, production, and distribution of acrylic paints. Acrylics should never be thinned with more than 25 % water. This is because too much water will upset the balance and spread the acrylic polymer too thinly, making it impossible for the molecules to reconnect properly to form a stable layer.

Since acrylic paint is more flexible and durable, it may be applied to any surface, including cloth, leather, glass, metal, paper, and cardboard, as well as wood. To avoid breathing in the tiny paint pigment particles, it is also advised to wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose. Professionals generally advise opening the windows and preventing pets and children from entering the room while working, despite the fact that acrylic paints are made with non-toxic, solvent-free ingredients.

On the other hand, there are other factors to consider when determining how long acrylic paint dries, such as humidity, temperature, airflow, absorbency of the substrate, and the brand of the paint, which will affect the drying times of acrylic paint. Most acrylic paints require 10 to 20 minutes to dry after being applied to a surface in a single thin layer. However, some acrylics may take hours to completely dry, especially if you are painting in layers and using different paint application techniques. Most importantly, the environment in which you paint should be taken into consideration.

Come on, let's all grab some acrylic paint and a paintbrush and discover the science behind it.
