Sa pagsapit ng bagong buwan, liwanag ay sumisilay,
Dala’y panibagong pag-asa, mga pangarap muling nagtagumpay.
Pagsara ng pinto sa nakaraang damdamin, pusong sugatan,
Sa huling pag-ibig na di nagtagal, panahon nang lumisan.

Sa bawat patak ng ulan, alaala’y nilulunod,
Mga sugat ng kahapon, sa agos ng panahon ay unti-unting nalunod.
Bagong simula, bagong pag-ibig, sa puso’y naghihintay,
Sa ilalim ng tala’t buwan, bagong damdamin ay sisibol, walang kapantay.

Ngayon, yakapin ang bukas, sa pag-ibig na darating,
Pusong sinarado sa nakaraan, muling magbubukas, magmamahal ng taimtim.
Sa bawat bukang-liwayway, bagong yugto ang tatahakin,
Panibagong buwan, panibagong pag-asa, sa buhay at sa pag-ibig magpapatuloy ang awit at dalangin.

Nawa’y maging gabay ang mensaheng ito sa pagharap mo sa bagong simula. ✨

4. Trust: Ensure mutual trust is strong. Kailangan buo ang tiwala niyo sa isa’t isa.

5. Emotional Readiness: Both should be ready for commitment.

6. Understand Their Past: Be aware of any unresolved issues. Simulan lang ninyong basahin ang isang libro kung tapos na kayo sa mga naunang kwento.

7. Conflict Resolution: Observe how they handle disagreements. Be with someone who will never hurt you lalo na sa mga panahong hindi kayo okay.

8. Discuss Expectations: Align on roles, responsibilities, and boundaries.

9. Long-Term Goals: Make sure your future plans are compatible. Hindi tayo bumabati sa umpisa, para lang sa huli ay magpaalam.

10. Mutual Respect: Ensure you respect each other’s individuality.

1994. A not so love story.

I just finished decluttering my room lately. I sat down and decided to open an old box I used to set aside because it's full of dust. To my surprise, I saw old letters (more on love letters my parents used to keep, I guess). When I read them one by one, there's this one letter that catches my attention.

"Good day. Hope you're okay. As for us here, we're fine.

Be, here's the amount of 200.00 pesos. (150 from Myrna, 40 from Nong Ling2x). Naiwan to nung umalis si ate Annie jan. I'm sorry for not sending it before fiesta.

So much regards to everybody."

After reading the letter, there's this sadness in my heart and it made me think of the life we had right now. 200 pesos has so much worth afore, we can buy a lot from it. With that amount you can go home from school with full stomach, but now, I'm not even sure if it's enough to pay for the fare back and forth.

Another thing is, if it's a letter to pay for an IOU's (I owe you or borrowed money", imagine, they send money with a letter despite of a not so easy and convenient way of sending money before. They have the initiatives. Come to think of it, if you borrowed money now, how hard is it to pay using GCASH? or bank transfer? Be responsible for what you owe. But what happened now? Ikaw na yung inutangan at kapag naningil ka na, sila pa yung galit at ikaw pa yung walang konsiderasyon kung wala pa silang pambayad. IKAW PA KELANGAN MAG ADJUST.

Sad to say this era is far from the life in late 2000's. People change, that's why Philippines change.

What kind of Philippines do we have now? What kind of person are you now?
