Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) holds the distinction of being the pioneer broadcast institution in the Philippines.. Radyo Natin (In English:Our Radio) is the biggest radio network in the Philippines. 92.1 DXRF-FM (RADYO NATIN SINDANGAN) is a satellite relay station owned and operated by MBC hold the distinction as the very first radio station in the municipality of Sindangan which started its
broadcast operations on December 16, 1997. In 2002, the broadcast operations of 92.1 DXRF-FM (RADYO NATIN SINDANGAN) were entrusted to MBC’s local affiliate partner-- Hometown Advertising & Promotions. On a daily 20-hour broadcast, 9 hours are allotted to programs locally produced by the partner/affiliate while 11 hours are allotted to programs hooked up via satellite to our broadcast center in Manila. With central studios found at the MBC Building within the Star City Complex in Pasay and local studio at Barangay Goleo, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, 92.1 DXRF-FM (Radyo Natin Sindangan) receives its signal using state of the art satellite technology then broadcast to our respective areas of responsibility including the nearby towns of the 2nd and third districts of Zamboanga del Norte. As an affiliate station of MBC, 92.1 Radyo Natin-FM Sindangan can, however, "unhook" from the Manila central studios and air events of our own localities on special specified hours, thus, 92.1 Radyo Natin-FM Sindangan is nationwide in coverage, yet local in nature. The “FIRST in NEWS and the BEST in MUSIC” is what we have been known for the past 15 years having satellite access to DZRH Manila, a leading News Station and the latest updates on current hits both foreign and OPM from our RN Center in Manila. During our Local Partner’s Choice Hours, we offer ADULT CONTEMPORARY (AC) format in terms of music programming, primarily playing popular music released during the past fifteen or twenty years, designed for general listeners. Our local playlists also include a limited selection of older material and current hits. We also have some Public Affairs and “Info-tainment” type of segments that have consistently maintained a strong audience following through the years. Today, with stations in key areas of the archipelago including 92.1 Radyo Natin Sindangan, MBC is able to reach out to the remote corners of the country and at the same time is heard by Filipinos overseas via the internet. On June 12, 2012, RN Sindangan celebrated another milestone as it launched its first online streaming via Ustream. Radyo Natin Sindangan continues to be a witness to both national and local history as it unfolds, while maintaining the highest standards of broadcast excellence. Radyo Natin Sindangan tagged as “Your Friendly Hometown Radio” has become a significant member of our local folks households though the years, a radio station anybody can freely claim as his/her first and original “hometown radio.” After all, RADYO NATIN literally means “OUR RADIO.” Together with all our avid loyal listeners who shared their childhood and youth with us, we hope to grow old gracefully with them even as we re-echo our endearing affirmation by saying “LOVE ko ang ORIG!”
