Bilang bahagi ng paghahanda para sa mga inaasahang aftershocks, alamin ang mga dapat gawin bago, habang at pagkatapos ng lindol.

Malacañang moved the commemoration of Bonifacio Day this year from November 30, which falls on a Thursday, to Monday, November 27, creating a long weekend starting on Saturday, November 25.

According to Proclamation 90 (amending Proclamation 42), signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, the commemoration of Bonifacio Day has been rescheduled to November 27, 2023, which is the closest Monday to its original date of November 30, 2023. This proclamation updated the list of regular holidays and special non-working days for 2023, allowing for "long weekends" in line with the principle of holiday economics. This principle aims to promote domestic travel and boost tourism spending in the country.

Bonifacio Day, traditionally observed as a regular holiday on November 30 each year, falls on a Thursday in 2023. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9492, November 27, 2023 (the nearest Monday to November 30) has been declared a non-working holiday, while November 30, 2023 (a Thursday) remains a working day.

Republic Act 9492, which was signed into law by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, moved regular and special holidays to the nearest Monday.

Moderate with occasionally heavy (4.5-7.5 with occasionally 7.5-15 liters/meter^2 per hour) with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are being experienced in (Baliangao, Sapang Dalaga, Plaridel, Aloran, Panaon, Jimenez, Clarin, Ozamis City) which may persist within 1-2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.
