It’s okay to cut off toxic and abusive family relationships

I know, karamihan satin ay mahal na mahal ang pamilya natin. However, we should not invalidate someone for cutting off toxic or abusive family. Not everyone is blessed to have a supportive and loving family.

I personally know someone who’s being r***d by her father repeatedly and sadly, her mother knows about it pero walang ginagawa to protect this girl. It’s sad and heartbreaking. Imagine the pain these parents caused to their own child.

While we are happy and blessed with our own families, we have to acknowledge that some are not lucky. And it’s valid to cut off toxic and abusive people in your life—even if it’s your own family.

Nagbahagi ng madamdaming mensahe ang ina ng nobya ni Carlos Yulo matapos makamit ng Pilipino atleta ang dalawang gintong medalya sa 2024 Paris Olympics.

Matapos ang kanilang pampering ay pumunta naman ang pamilya sa Venice Grand Canal para maranasan ang Gondola Ride na ginawa noon kay Carlos noong ibinigay sa kanya ang condominium unit na handog ng Megaworld.

Kumain din sila sa isang steak house sa loob ng nasabing mall.

Matatandaan na hanggang ngayon ay hindi parin nagpaparamdam si Carlos sa kanyang pamilya kahit nangako na ang atleta na kikitain niya ang kanyang ama.

Gymnast Levi Jung-Ruivivar released a statement addressing her absence from the Heroes' Welcome Parade, along with fellow gymnasts Emma Malabuyo and Aleah Finnegan.

"I truly wish from the bottom of my heart that I could have attended and been part of this event, but unfortunately, I was never informed that I was invited or presented with the opportunity to go," Ruivivar wrote in the statement.

Levi's post on Instagram included a screenshot of her conversation with Cynthia Carrion, the president of the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines.
