BRAIN WAVES.
Brain waves are like electrical signals that our brain sends out all the time, and they play a big role in how we feel, think, and act. These waves are divided into different types based on how fast they are.
For example, when you're in a deep, restful sleep, your brain produces slow delta waves. When you're daydreaming or relaxed, your brain shifts to alpha waves.
If you're really focused or solving problems, faster beta waves take over. There are also gamma waves, which are the fastest and happen when you're thinking hard or having peak mental experiences.
The cool thing is, brain waves can affect your mood and overall well-being. If you're constantly stressed, your brain might be producing too many beta waves, which can make you feel anxious or restless.
On the flip side, practicing relaxation techniques like meditation can increase alpha waves, helping you feel calmer and more focused.
By understanding how brain waves work, we can use simple habits, like getting enough sleep or taking time to relax, to improve our mental and emotional health.
