𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀

A youth forum was held on September 19 at Becuran National High School to raise awareness of the urgent problem that has plagued the country and make an effort to tackle the increasing number of teenage pregnancies in the Philippines. The Philippines currently has one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancy in the ASEAN, with Central Luzon ranked as the second-highest in early pregnancy statistics.

The meeting, attended by Grade 11 classroom officers and stakeholders, focused on the underlying causes and broad effects of teenage pregnancy.

CPD associates discussed strategies for preventing teenage pregnancy. Education campaigns aimed at raising awareness about the risks and responsibilities associated with teenage pregnancy were highlighted.

The meeting at Becuran National High School marked a significant step in addressing the alarming teenage pregnancy rates in the Philippines. It is hoped that this concerted effort will lead to concrete actions and policies to protect the future of the nation's youth.
