The oldest Filipina whose age has been verified during American occupation was Martina Sumagaysay (1773-1923) of Kabanlakan Negros Occidental, who lived to the age of 150. The oldest verified Filipino men was Felipe Pedris (1793–1923) of Murcia, Negros Occidental, who lived to the age of 130.
