Inspired by Mother Délia Tétreault’s spirit of thanksgiving expressed in her evangelizing mission, the ICAlettes provides for human and Christian formation in the field of journalism as students cover people and events inside and outside the school that are worthy of being showcased and are of the interest of ICAns. GOALS
The ICAlettes seeks to engender school spirit by making every member of the ICA community aware of and engaged in relevant topics and issues both inside and outside the school. Pursuant to this, the newsletter and organization as a whole must highlight ICAn achievements, chronicle and distinguish each school year from the next, and tell the stories of the school community with journalistic integrity at the forefront. True Christians - imbued with the zeal to spread the Good News of Christ in their respective crafts and to articulate Christian morality not only in words but in their deeds as well.
2. Committed Citizens - actively concerned for their Chinese-Filipino heritage, sustainable living, and the promotion of justice, peace, and unity among all Filipinos and global citizens.
3. Competent Communicators - adequately equipped with reading, writing, and speaking skills to effectively explain, describe, narrate, and persuade readers to be involved in current issues regarding the school community in the world.
4. Skillful Artists - engaged in the field of art as a platform to raise awareness and spark conversations about relevant issues, all while creating a positive impact on the community through well-crafted outputs.
