A celebration in Mexico over the weekend to reveal the gender of a child took a tragic turn when the pilot of a small aircraft lost his life in a crash shortly after participating in the event.

Mall Mishap: Last Friday, August 11, 2023, an incident occurred at a shopping mall in Kidapawan City, involving three individuals who were visiting the mall. Among them were two preschool children accompanied by a teenager. They sustained injuries when a glass panel affixed to the mall's ceiling unexpectedly dislodged and descended, striking them. The unfortunate event transpired as the trio was riding an escalator, during which the substantial glass panel plummeted, shattering upon impact. Regrettably, this occurrence resulted in harm to the three individuals and caused damage to the upper section of the mall's walkway. Promptly responding, the employees of Gaisano Grand Kidapawan conveyed the injured victims to a nearby hospital. The incident was documented in a video captured by Lovely Rose Malinao.
