Where can your long hair take you?

Have your hair cut for free and help create wigs for alopecia patients! You also get a free sunscreen and 50% discount on all facials at DWELL Dermatology Center.

In preparation for SEPTEMBER ( Alopecia Awareness Month), DWELL Dermatology Center and the UP-PGH Dermatology in partnership with Hair for Hope, will be holding its first hair donation drive on September 21, 2024 (Saturday), at DWELL Malasin from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Interested donors may sign-up for a slot for a free hair cut with Sir Dannie Pajaret. Kindly refer to hair donation guidelines below.

We need 10 bundles to create 1 wig! Wigs will be given to select patients with alopecia. Let this be an opportunity to share your crowning glory.

MISTER & MISS SAN JOSE CITY 2024

Nagningning ang entablado ng Pag-asa Sports Complex nitong Abril 19 sa pagtatanghal ng pinakaaabangang Mister and Miss San Jose City 2024 Grand Coronation Night, ang pinaka-eleganteng programa sa ilalim ng Pagibang Damara Festival.

Mula sa 11 kababaihang kalahok sa patimpalak, nangibabaw ang husay ni Erinn Lance Dela Cruz (Brgy. F.E. Marcos), estudyante ng kursong BS International Travel and Tourism Management sa Lyceum of the Philippines University, at kinoronahang Miss San Jose City 2024.

Nasungkit din ni Dela Cruz ang gantimpala para sa Miss DWELL Prestige Beauty, Best in Modern Filipiniana, Miss Body Physique, Best in Swimwear, at Best in Evening Gown.

Napansin naman ng mga hurado ang tikas at talino ng mag-aaral ng kursong BS Computer Science sa STI College na si Jazer Sanil (Brgy. R. Eugenio), na siyang ginawaran ng titulong Mister San Jose City 2024 mula sa 11 kalalakihang kandidato.

Itinanghal na Miss San Jose City 1st Runner-up si Honey Grace Capili (Brgy. Sto. Tomas), isang mag-aaral ng Business Administration sa Central Luzon State University (CLSU) at 2nd Runner-up naman si Mikaela Jane Pascua (Brgy. Calaocan) na nagsusulong ng Sustainable Development Goals at kumukuha ng kursong Textile & Fashion Technology sa parehong unibersidad. Nahirang din si Pascua bilang Miss Photogenic.

Sa kalalakihan naman, sina Vinhardt Correa (Brgy. San Agustin), mag-aaral ng Senior High sa San Jose City National High School ang nagwaging Mister San Jose City 1st Runner-up at Alexies Dela Cruz (Brgy. Sto. Niño 1st) na kilala bilang delivery rider ang 2nd Runner-up.

Hinakot din ni Correa ang mga gantimpala para sa Mister Max’s People Choice, Mister Body Physique, Best in Swimwear, at Best in Formal Wear. Si Dela Cruz naman ang itinanghal na Mister DWELL Prestige Beauty.

Kabilang din sa mga binigyang parangal noong gabi sina Sean Michael Aguila (Brgy. Abar 1st) bilang Mister Photogenic, Micaela Dela Cruz (Brgy. Villa Joson) bilang Miss Max’s People’s Choice, at Jairus Macadangdang (Brgy. F.E. Marcos) bilang Best in Modern Barong, habang Mister at Miss Congeniality naman sina Joshua Onia (Brgy. Abar 1st) at Vanessa Mae Nariz (Brgy. Sto. Niño 2nd).

Mas naging prestihiyoso ang programa sa presensiya ng mga huradong sina Pauline Amelincx (Miss Supranational 1st Runner-up), Hannah Arnold (Bb. Pilipinas International 2022), Krishna Gravidez (Miss Charm Philippines 2024), Joshua De Sequera (professional model at Manhunt International 2022 1st Runner-up), Argel Saycon (TV actor at dating PBB housemate), Valentino Jaafar (model at TV actor), at Justin Uy (model).

Nagsilbing host naman sina Miss Charm 2023 1st Runner-up Annabelle McDonnell at Ginoong Bulacan 2022 Than Perez.

Hindi lamang kagandahan, tikas, at talino ng San Josenio ang namayagpag sa programa kundi pati talento rin ng mga mang-aawit at mananayaw ng lungsod.

Nagpamalas ng husay sa pag-awit si Benedict Paulo Vinluan, The Voice Teens 2024 semi-finalist, at mga grupo ng mananayaw na Be Real at Team Rocket.

Naimbitahan din para sa pambungad na bilang ang Cabanatueñong si Marhia Sanchez, Eat Bulaga 2023 Bidanext Finalist.

Samantala, binigyan ng pagkilala sa programa ang tagumpay sa 2023 national competitions nina Princes Lazaga, Ivan Aikon Ignacio, at Daniel John Felismino, pawang mga dating nagwagi sa Mister & Miss San Jose City. Si Ignacio rin ang kauna-unahang nagdala ng bandera ng San Jose City sa international pageant nang manalo ito bilang 2nd Runner-up sa Mister Cosmopolitan na ginanap sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia noong Oktubre 2023.

Nagbigay inspirasyon din ang makabuluhang mensaheng iniwan nina Mister San Jose City 2023 John Dave Apostol at Miss San Jose City 2023 Mariya Jeffy Felimon sa kanilang ceremonial farewell walk.

Si Apostol ay nagtapos na Cum Laude sa kursong Business Administration sa CLSU at ngayon ay isa nang flight attendant sa Philippine Airlines, habang si Felimon naman ay napagsasabay rin ang pagiging mahusay na student athlete at local beauty queen.

Nagbigay rin ng maikling mensahe si Mayor Kokoy Salvador at pinasalamatan ang komiteng bumubuo sa Mister & Miss San Jose City na ngayon ay kilala na bilang isang prestihiyosong beauty pageant sa Nueva Ecija.

Mariya Jeffy Felimon - Binibining Nueva Ecija '23 Provincial Costume Show

Isang marikit na dalaga sa bukid. Ito ang imaheng makikita kay Mariya Jeffy Felimon mula sa Lungsod San Jose habang suot ang tradisyonal na baro’t saya na nilagyan ng hitik na palamuti upang bigyan ng isang glamorosa at modernong interpretasyon ang simpleng kasuotang Pilipino. Nakasabit din sa kanyang likod ang isang malaking salakot, at bitbit niya ang ilang bungkos ng palay na tila inani sa bukid. Bukod dito ay may baon ding kwento ang dalaga mula sa Lungsod San Jose. Sa panahon ng anihan, ang mga magsasaka ay karaniwang nagtatayo ng isang silungan na kung tawagin ay damara. Karaniwang gawa sa ilang piraso ng kahoy at nipa, ito ay nagsisilbing pahingahan ng mga manggagawang gumagapas ng palay.. Kapag tapos na ang anihan, bilang parte ng selebrasyon at pasasalamat, ang damara ay ginigiba. Ang paggiba sa damara ay hudyat na tapos na ang anihan; panahon na ng pasasalamat dahil sa maganda at masaganang ani. Sa tradisyong ito hinango ang pagdiriwang ng taunang pista ng Lungsod San Jose na kung tawagin ay PAGIBANG DAMARA FESTIVAL. Ang costume at props na ito ay gawa ni Ryan Espanol ng Pustura Kastila Creations.

The 2023 Candidates Visit Tahanan ng Damayang Kristiyano

On top of workshops aimed at developing their personality and preparing them for a bigger stage, the Mister & Miss San Jose City Organization conducts activities that instill values and virtues to our candidates, among them charity. The candidates visited the Tahanan ng Damayang Kristiyano, a home for the abandoned elderly women run by the Diocese of San Jose, on March 31 and brought with them medicines and grocery supplies from the organization. Seeing these young, beautiful individuals entertaining, feeding, and having heart-to-heart conversations with the elderly was heartwarming. The fun part of the visit? When the lolas requested for a song and a TikTok dance number! (Candidates t-shirts: ) *No copyright infringement intended on the use of music.*
