SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 505 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (9.8°N, 130.1°E). Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon.
FORECAST:
Visayas. MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Shear Line/Trough of LPA. (Possible flash floods or landslides due moderate to at times heavy rains)
Cagayan Valley and Apayao will have cloudy skies with light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. (No Significant Impact)
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies w/ isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon.(No significant impact)
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. (Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms)
Strong winds from Northeast will prevail over Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao with rough seas (2.8 to 4.5 m).
Light to moderate winds from Northeast to North will prevail over The rest of the country with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 2.5 m).
