Global Truck Online by Star Games App, what do we know so far?

Global Truck Online, initially introduced by their former game developer MysticSoft back in July 2022 the game has been drastically improved since the last 2 years. Now being developed by Star Games App here's what we know about the game after 2 years.

- The game is heavily based on Brazilian Driving.
- The map is based on real life locations in Brazil.
- The game has outstanding graphics, beautiful scenic routes and very lush and diverse environment
- Challenging and interesting routes
- The game will feature multiple vehicle types ranging from trucks to pick up trucks with different axles
- Vehicle sounds are good
- There will be Offline mode and Online mode
- Online mode is used for Multiplayer in which you can play with friends

Previously, a pre registration of the game was seen on Playstore but unfortunately it was removed due to that the have reached way passed due on the pre registration. As of this very moment the developers are finalizing the game and preparing for its release for Android first. It was expected to be out the first week of February 2025 which based when this post is made on the 3rd of February, the developers only have 5 more days until the game is released.

MAN TGL DISTRIBUTION TRUCK
In our effort to cover the widest span of vehicle options, we have decided to include distribution trucks in our simulator. Today we are going to introduce the first of this kind to arrive in Drive Real Truck Simulator. Very agile in urban environments, while still accommodating high payloads, MAN TGL comes as a practical, powerful and efficient choice when it comes to distribution transport.

It can be ordered in nearly endless chassis and cab configurations, but to simplify our concept, the TGL will be available in our game with either 4200mm or 5200mm wheelbase, with the compact cab and gross vehicle weight of 7.500 or 12.000 kg. All the cargo will be swiftly hauled down the road through a 4×2 chassis configuration accompanied by a couple of engines ranging from 160 to 250 hp.

As usual, the truck will have multiple options, some of them being: refrigerated cargo compartment, halogen or LED headlights and even digital mirrors. But to make things easier, we have showcased all of them in the YouTube video.

Introducing the MAN TGE Panel Van
In our initial series of blog posts, we are going to discover the level of detail our team has achieved when it comes to vehicles. First on our list, MAN TGE panel van.

Coming in different chassis and dimensions, both in real life and in Drive Real Truck Simulator, MAN TGE makes up for an extremely versatile choice. We are committed to accurately reproducing it in our project, from the appearance and optimization, to the actual specifications and technical aspects. This is especially important, not only for our fanbase, but also to favor a positive result in the brand licensing process.

Although there can be almost endless variations for this commercial vehicle, we’ve decided to simplify our range due to the nature of our simulator, therefore it will initially come in three panel van chassis configurations:

• Standard length & normal roof, with a total permissible weight of 3.000 kg and maximum cargo weight of around 870kg, as front wheel drive only.

• Standard length & high roof, with a total permissible weight of 3.500 kg and a maximum cargo weight of around 1.370 kg, as front wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

• Extra long & high roof, with a total permissible weight of 5.500 kg and a maximum cargo weight of around 2.800kg, as rear wheel drive only.

When it comes to engines, the vehicle will be powered by different versions of the famous 2.0TDI engine, ranging from 102HP to 177HP, paired with either 6 or 8 speed transmission.

All the power will be put to the ground, depending on the chassis type, with the help of different pairs of wheels and tyres: For the chassis aimed more towards light duty (3.000 and 3.500 kg total permissible weight), there will be a set of light duty wheels. In the case of the heavy duty (5.500kg total permissible weight) version, the panel van will be equipped with heavy duty wheels, including dual rear wheels.
