Managing kids in a classroom can be a difficult task for many teachers. In many cases, one must establish himself/herself as a facilitator without losing composure. But what if you end up working with differently-abled children (students of determination)? How would you be able to assist these kids?

In this episode, I sit down with Joahnna Oligo, an experienced teacher-assistant. We talked about how she found herself assisting students of determination in Dubai. While talking about her journey as a teacher, she also shared some tips on how to capture student's attention, setting expectations when going to another country, and some reasons why teaching can be fulfilling.

Istorya missed an episode today! Oh no! 😱😱

Yes, I admit. I had my shortcomings this time. But I also mentioned I'm doing this podcast in a slower pace. 😅

Here's what happened.

First, I began accepting Japanese clients for teaching English. Yay! 🥳

But this means I'm a little more busier now.

Two, I have no guests this time. Turns out finding a resource person in a specific industry is much more difficult compared than my last year's journey, where I usually pick up people from all walks of life without sorting them out.

And that's it. Hope you forgive me today. I'll make it up to you in no time.
