“COCO MARTIN LUMABAN KA NG PATAS!”

Controversial motivational speaker, entrepreneur and social media influencer Rendon Labador again fires a message addressed to Hari ng Primetime Coco Martin as he appeals to the latter to use his own studio for the production shoot of ABS-CBN hit series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’.

“Kawawa ka dito sa Pilipinas kapag normal na tao ka lang, kaya pinilit kong mag ka boses para ipagtanggol ang mga walang kakayanan ipaglaban ang karapatan nila,” he says in a Facebook post on March 11, 2023 as he shares a screenshot of a netizen who backed his stance versus Martin.

“Coco Martin lumaban ka ng patas!”, he adds. “Pakiusap ko lang na maghanap ka ng sarili mong studio at huwag gamitin ang PUBLIC PLACE.”

Labador is once more hogging headlines following his tirades against Martin that included a video where he slammed the actor calling him “t***a” and “ang tigas ng mukha mo” over the alleged “laking abala” affecting the livelihoods of vendors and traders in Quiapo supposedly caused by his TV shooting.

Some of Martin’s cast members, particularly the rappers and vloggers, have come to his defense and hit back against Labador.

Former professional basketball player, actor and vlogger Mark “Big Mak” Andaya though took a more friendly approach and calmly asked Labador to “go to the set and look at the situation kung talagang totoo.”

Andaya even invited him to a round of drinks so they could talk about it, wished him luck with his career and business and broached the possibility that Martin may pick him to star in FPB BQ.

“Brad, minsan magkita tayo, kwentuhan tayo. Gusto mo mag-inuman tayo para medyo, sana maliwanagan ka,” he said.

Talent manager, comedian, vlogger and podcaster Ogie Diaz also shared his two cents on the hot issue as he asked Labador to tone down with his statements and not to act like a “siga.”
