𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗢𝗻, 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻!

This year, Romblon State University is pleased to announce the 𝙍𝙎𝙐 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩 2024: 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙐𝙥 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚, a festive event designed to raise funds for the UNI-CESS (University Community Empowerment Through Sustainable Services) Project, supporting the community of Puro Island, Sta. Fe.

As detailed in Memorandum No. 134, s. 2024, the Lights Fest will feature a display of lights illuminating the university landmark, beginning with a Grand Opening Ceremony on December 9, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This spectacle will then be available for viewing nightly throughout the holiday season.

RSU invites everyone to "𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙐𝙥 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚: 𝘼 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞-𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝘼 𝘾𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚," scheduled for December 12, 2024, in the university quadrangle. This heartwarming event offers a chance to enjoy festive music while contributing to a worthy cause. Fundraising tickets will be available for purchase, with all proceeds directly benefiting the residents of Puro Island.

Today, December 4, 2024, at 3:00 PM, the Romblon State University San Agustin Campus proudly joins the global and national commemoration of the 2024 International Human Rights Day and National Human Rights Consciousness Week. This significant occasion underscores RSU's dedication to fostering awareness, justice, and equality within the university and the wider community.

The event highlights the importance of human rights as a cornerstone of a just and equitable society. Campus leaders, including Unit Heads, Deans, and Directors, led reflective prayers during the program to honor those who have suffered injustice. These prayers serve as a unifying moment, encouraging everyone to reflect on the need to protect human dignity and promote equality for all.

This observance reinforces RSU San Agustin Campus’ steadfast advocacy for human rights and its mission to cultivate socially responsible individuals. The participation of faculty, staff, and students demonstrates the university’s solidarity in the ongoing fight against inequality and oppression.

Ang mamatay ng dahil sa'yo...

Ngayong ika-30 ng Nobyembre, ating ginugunita ang kapanganakan ni Andres Bonifacio, isa sa mga pinakamatapang na bayani sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.

Bilang "Ama ng Katipunan," sinindihan niya ang apoy ng ating pagka-Pilipino at ibinuhos ang kanyang buhay sa pakikibaka para sa kalayaan ng ating mga ninuno mula sa mga mananakop. Ang kanyang buhay ay isang simbolo ng tunay na paglilingkod at pakikipaglaban para sa bayan hanggang sa kanyang kamatayan.

Nawa'y maging aral sa atin ang kanyang mga kontribusyon sa ating kalayaan, lalo na sa panahong ito; huwag nating hahayaang masakop at madungisan ang ating bansa ng mga taong walang pagmamahal dito.
