The 2024 University Week was a blast!
The magnificent celebration was commenced with a holy mass, followed by a colorful parade of the different participating Clusters.
A vibrant opening program was held which is attended by the distinguished guest, supportive faculty members, participating clusters and the hardworking student leaders from the different organizations of RSU San Agustin.

We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to our guest speaker,the 2nd termer Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member, 1st District and Committee Chairperson for Education, Agriculture, Women, Children and Family Affairs ,Hon. Maria Rhosarean “Nene” Abrenica Solis for sharing valuable time and knowledge on University Day.Your willingness to engage with us made the event truly special.We appreciate the time and effort you put into preparing for this event. Romblon State University proudly honors the achievements of its graduates who successfully passed the July-August 2024 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE). With a commendable performance, RSU's first-time takers achieved a 70% passing rate, while repeaters garnered a 66.67% success rate, leading to an overall passing rate of 68.42%—well above the national average.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 11,121 out of 22,539 examinees nationwide passed the CLE, marking a national passing rate of 49.34%.

RSU’s results reflect the dedication and hard work of both the students and faculty, reinforcing the university’s commitment to excellence under the leadership of Dr. Merian P. Catajay-Mani.

This achievement not only highlights the quality of education at RSU but also the unwavering support and guidance provided by the institution's faculty and staff under the RSU San Agustin Campus led by Dr. Poly D. Banagan.

The RSU and the Institute of Criminal Justice Education also extend its deepest gratitude to the "Father of RSU", Cong. Eleandro Jesus F. Madrona for his endless support to every criminology student in their preparation for the examination and to his countless effort to every RSUvian's dream.

As we celebrate the success of our newly licensed criminologists, we also extend our best wishes as they embark on their professional careers, contributing to the safety and security of our nation.

Official Statement on the page Hacking Incident at Romblon State University

Dear Romblon State University Community,

We regret to inform you that the official page of Romblon State University was compromised yesterday around 4 PM. Upon realizing the breach, we promptly submitted an appeal to Meta in an effort to regain control of the page.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident may have occurred due to a "Claim of Ownership" request submitted by an unauthorized individual, which was unfortunately granted by Facebook. This type of incident has similarly affected the pages of other organizations.

Currently, the compromised page is posting content unrelated to our university. We strongly urge everyone to refrain from sharing these posts.
