REMINDER: NOT JUNE, IT'S ACTUALLY JULY

A friendly reminder that the month of July marks the beginning of the second half of the year, not June, and it lasts until the end of the year on the last day of December. The Second Half of the Year Day is generally celebrated on July 1, the start of July.

Specifically, the halfway point of this year is July 1 at noon, which is the 182nd day of the regular year with 365 days. If decimals don't count, the start of July 2, which is the 183rd day, is sometimes referred to as the halfway point of a typical year.

Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over MetroManila, Tarlac, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal within the next 2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in NuevaEcija(SanLeonardo, Penaranda, Gapan, GeneralTinio, Jaen, SanIsidro), Bulacan(DonaRemediosTrinidad), Pampanga(Candaba), Quezon(Polilio) which may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.
