: Teacher Airen Demavivas-Gonzales of Gapok Central Elementary School in Sultan Kudarat shared her experience using Knowledge Channel video lessons in classroom instruction. Her school was among the 30 beneficiary schools that received the Knowledge Channel Teaching in the New Normal (KCTINN) online training from the Schools Division Office of Sultan Kudarat and the Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat on October 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Napakalaking tulong po sa akin, at lalo na din po sa aking mga learners. Naging aktibo po ang mga bata during my class kasi very informative po ang mga videos." said Teacher Airen.

KCTINN trained educators on how different pedagogies, such as inquiry-based teaching, problem-solving, and media-based learning using Knowledge Channel video lessons, may be used in their classes for better engagement to enhance learning during the new normal.

The program also promoted constructivism through blended and distance learning using modules, online learing sessions, and use of Knowledge Channel video lessons via the Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library (KCPML).

: The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) successfully conducted a two-day training for Local Government Units (LGUs) on history and heritage last March 11–12, 2025, at the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Financial Center.

With over 150 participants from Metro Manila and Rizal, the training aimed to empower LGUs in preserving history, managing cultural sites, and promoting historical consciousness in their communities. Experts from NHCP tackled essential topics such as national symbols, the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines (RA 8491), commemorations, and heritage conservation.

LGUs play a crucial role in safeguarding our nation’s history—and NHCP is committed to supporting them in this mission.
