All Canadian Special breakfast for 11.68CAD plus 12% tax 🤑 The kind of breakfast you can have just in the train station🚉

I like it when they’ve added the calory details on the menu 👌 I’m taking now 905-925 calories 😋

There are lots of pros about living here in Canada. But let me talk to you some cons too.

One word…. EXPENSIVE!

Like this ordinary breakfast it’s about 540 Pesos more or less compared to fast food heavy breakfast in the Philippines more or less 200 Pesos only.

Yesterday I bought a small bottle of water and it’s over 2 Canadian Dollars with tax. It’s about 85 Pesos more or less compared to 15 Pesos in the Philippines. My little observation from the basics of daily living here.

Of course there are solutions.
Magbaon ng tubig every time lalabas at make sure kumain na sa bahay 😆

Exploring Central Park 🌳🍁🦆🚶‍♂️
It is a 90-hectare (220-acre) urban park in Burnaby, British Columbia, founded in 1891.

Central Park's primary attraction is the large proportion of its land reserved as a well-preserved temperate rainforest ecosystem, with numerous walking trails. Among its other attractions are the award-winning children's playground,[citation needed] pitch and putt golf, an outdoor swimming facility, a lawn bowling facility, several picnic areas, tennis courts, and a couple of small duck ponds. Wildlife in the park includes grey squirrels and coyotes.

What I love about here is that there are lots of parks and lakes just around the corner that you can come and visit anytime for free, the weather and most of all their people. Canada I’m so in love with you.

I’ve made it to Quarry Rock and the view on top of the rock is magnificent 🪨 Check out my photos till the very end of my hike as I took photos along the way.

How Long is the Quarry Rock hike? If you choose to do the whole hike from the Panorama Drive parking lot, it is 3.6km return with 100 metres elevation gain. The Quarry Rock hike usually takes 1.5 hours in total on average. For the incredible views that you get at the viewpoint, the 3.6km is well worth it!

Finally after pandemic I’m back traveling ✈️🌍
Vancouver here I come 🙋🏻‍♂️🇨🇦

Arrived on September 15, 2023 around 5:30pm vancouver time via PAL PR116. This was my most fast and hassle free travel so far. I was already impressed how fast my encounter with Philippine immigration officer was with only few asked questions and documents. Upon arrival sa Vancouver airport ako ang nasurprise. No interview sa immigration officer. All is done by a kiosk (computer) by yourself. I scanned my passport and took a photo of my self after may lumabas na receipt then that’s it. Pinakita ko lang sa airport officer then pinaderetso na ako to get my luggages. NO entry stamping na rin sa passport.

Me after getting my luggages asking myself am I done? Then I continue walking to the exit sign. Another officer took the receipt from me (receipt from the kiosk) then I continue walking until I see myself outside the airport.

Hindi ako makapaniwala at mapakali bumalik ako at pumunta sa Information desk and asked.
Me: Hi I’m wondering why I don’t not see immigration officer and get stamp on my passport.
Information: Are you a tourist?
Me: yes!
information: No need of that if you don’t need visa stamping on your passport.

Wow 🤩 That’s it! I’m very impressed 1st day pa lang parang gusto ko na agad dito 👌
How I wish other countries follow
1st they allow ETA (no need of visa)
Then they have this fast system entry process.
Amazing Vancouver 😍🇨🇦

And last but not the least special thanks to my friend
Ero, her husband Leo and Cassy their daughter for accommodating me very well from the airport directly to Richmond Night Market to have our dinner and for welcoming me to their home sweet home.
