In the Bible, firstfruits symbolize the first and best portion of a harvest offered to God as an act of gratitude, trust, and dedication.

As I read a chapter today, though it wasnโ€™t entirely about firstfruits, something in it spoke to me. It made me reflect: ๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ?

This question led me to list the things I can offer to the Lord:

1. My day โ€“ The first moments of my day should be dedicated to Him through prayer and reading His Word.
2. My finances โ€“ A portion of my income, starting with 10%, belongs to the Lord, and I can also dedicate my first paycheck entirely as an offering.
3. My week โ€“ The first day of the week, Sunday, is a time to rest and worship, setting it apart to be with God and my church community.

May we always remember to honor God with our first and best, trusting that He will provide for all our needs.

Even from the beginning, Satan has been a complete liar. He twists everything that God says, making wrong things appear appealing. He always wants us to think that God doesnโ€™t want good things for us.

But God just wants to protect us. He knows that sin will cause death. The story of the Fall reveals that God's word is true and trustworthy. Following Him will protect and preserve us. There is destruction in disobedience, yet His word brings blessing and protection.
