PANDESAL
Soft Pandesal Recipe 😋
Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup powdered milk
1 tsp salt
1 packet active dry yearst ( 2 1/4 tsp)
1 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup melted butter
Bread crumbs
Instructions
In a bowl, mix warm water, 1 tbsp sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes or until foamy.
Add flour, powdered milk, salt, melted butter to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Shape the dough into small balls, roll them in bread crumbs, and place on a baking sheet.
Let the dough balls rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Nothing like a freshly baked pandesal for breakfast.
