Mark 6:8;12-13 NIV
These were his instructions: "Take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in your belts.
They went out and preached that people should repent.They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

Reflection
It is hard to go through an event in your life that you weren't prepared for. our mission in Christ needS faith and willingness to trust in Him. Today's passage tells us a specific instruction Jesus gave to his disciples to take nothing but themselves and to go on a mission journey with Him. Many times we want to obey God but want to do it our way and in an conditional way, we love to be assured that we are able to deliver based on the skills and inventory that we have. But God here teaches the disciples to have full dependence on God, it is always said in the Christian faith that when you have lost everything in your life you will discover that God is enough for you. God does not want us to rely on material provisions but on his provisions. Sometimes we hold tightly to things we believe will bring security and enable us to accomplish things in life but truly the opposite of what Jesus showed his disciples, it reminds us that God is our ultimate provider. Our Faith should shadow our fears and worries. We should trust God’s promises rather than being paralyzed by fear and the uncertainty. So now examine your life today and ask if there i anything God is asking you to do today and by faith you need to step forward and trust him to use you and do great things.

Dear Lord, help us to trust You more deeply in our life. Teach us to let go of fear and the need for material security for us to answer to your calling. May we rely not on our resources, understanding, and ability but on you Lord to a co plish , eighty things for our glory in Jesus' name we pray Amen.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Reflection
In life we all need appreciation, we all want to be needed and acknowledged for the things we have done. It is so tempting to demand and seek the praise of others when you feel good about what you’re doing and no one notices it. But today our verse challenges us to change the way we view our work in the Lord. Our daily tasks should be done with excellence regardless if someone notices it or not and certainly we do it not to seek approval from people but to shift our focus to the real person to whom is due and that is to glorify God. Whether you’re cleaning your home, serving at church, or simply doing your job should be done with a heart for God. So today, ask yourself, “Who am I working for?” Take a moment to invite God into your heart before you go through your day of responsibilities. Let your good deeds say a lot about who Jesus is and His faithfulness, Be joyful in your labor and know it is for Jesus even when no one appreciates it, and remember you will have rewards from Jesus in the end.

Dear Lord, thank You for the opportunity to serve You in everything we do. Help us to work with all our heart, not to gain praise from others, but to honor You. May our works reflect Your love that will point others to You in Jesus' name we pray Amen.

Reflection
TIME IS GOLD as the saying goes, the apostle Paul reminds us of the importance of living with intentionality and wisdom. Time is one of the most valuable possessions anyone can have and if we do not use it well it will waste off. How are you using your time today does it draw us closer to God and enable us to do things that have eternal value. The danger in the verse that says “the days are evil” tells us the reality of the world filled with distractions, temptations, and influences that can lead anyone away from God’s will. Remember that Wisdom isn’t simply about knowing what is right but also practicing that knowledge to live in a way that honors God and avoid walking aimlessly to an empty destination.

Dear Lord, thank You for the gift of time. Help us to live each day making the most of every opportunity and gift you place over us. Guide each step we take so that we may honor You from every second of time Jesus' name we pray Amen.
