Today, October 5, marks as the World Teachers' Day. In line with this, we honor the tireless efforts and dedication of educators who play a crucial role in shaping the future of society. They are the guiding lights that ignite the spark of knowledge and inspire students to reach their full potential. From early childhood education to higher academia, teachers invest not only their time but also their hearts into nurturing young minds. They go above and beyond their job descriptions, serving as mentors, counselors, and role models to their students. Teacher's Day is a reminder to express our gratitude and appreciation for their unwavering commitment to fostering a love for learning and creating a positive impact in the lives of countless individuals.

Bag, papel, notebook, ballpen at iba pa.
Panibagong kabanata ating bubuksan,
Panibagong tawanan at asaran ating pag-sasamahan,
Panibagong hirap ating mararanasan,
Panibagong luha ating pupunasan,

Ikaw at ako,
Mga kapwa estudyante ko.
Handa na ba kayo?
Patungo sa panibagong kuwento?
Panibagong yugto, panibagong kabanata,
Tula'y pinamagatang simula't wakas,
Dahil ito ang simula ng ating pakikipagsapalaran;

As the summer sun drifts the sky with a golden hue,
Came in the dawn of August, an academic anew,
Where the halls once empty and quiet,
Will be filled soon with bustling and eager students.
From hesitant freshmen to vigorous seniors.
In an institution: that is a tapestry of million goals,
Noble scholars, stand cordial and tall.
Through laughter and tears, they'll weather each storm.
Awaken their minds and awaken their hearts.
Weave to embark on the labyrinth of learning,
To find triumph, on their route of dreams.
Striving on a voyage to unravel ahead,
For knowledge unchained, ideas astound.
On the fourteenth, a date of significance profound,
The opening of classes, a cycle of unbroken.
The baton of education, forever to be spoken,
A familiar embrace, an eternal paradigm.

For a 21-year-old Bicolano artist, This is what John Jeff Camasis wants to introduce to people.
Do you still remember his name?
A third-year student from Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) of Polangui Community College (PCC). He is also the head artist of The PCC Dimensions, the Official Student Publication of PCC.
His artworks are also known as 'hyper-realistic painting' because of its well-detailed and high-resolution results. Also, many of his artworks were commended and featured in TV 5, GMA, and ABS-CBN, including the 'Savage Mind: Arts, Books, Cinema' โ a gallery in Naga City.
Recently, Jeff once again showed his exemplary artwork named ๐๐ถ๐ฃ๐ช-๐ญ๐ถ๐ฃ๐ช in Bikol Republik, an Art Exhibit by and for all Bicolano artists. The art exhibit started on March 5 and will end on March 15, 2023, at SM Megamall, Mandaluyong, Manila. The said exhibit was participated by three (3) groups; Salingoy Art Group, Bikol Expression, Kugos and with a special guest, Pancho Mistula Piano. Jeff is part of the Salingoy Art Group.
๐๐ถ๐ฃ๐ช-๐ญ๐ถ๐ฃ๐ช, scientifically named as ๐๐ช๐ค๐ถ๐ด ๐ฑ๐ด๐ฆ๐ถ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐ข, as a shrub or small tree that considered as the miniature version of the coconut palm, is a native plant/vegetable in Bicol.
According to the Salingoy Art Group, Bikol Republik is an ode to the Region, its culture, and its people. It is a nod to the Bikolnon sensibilities as the artists showcase their skills and their love for their roots. From contemporary, abstractions to classical pieces, our creatives put their best foot forward to show you the beauty of the Region.
Artists do not always create aesthetically admirable artworks, but they help people to appreciate even the hidden and weirdest thing around and John Jeff is one.
