1. Di pwedeng ipilit na laging si Brownlee.

2. Kaya naman mag score ng mga locals

3. Pwedeng malasin sa offense, pero our Pinoy team has a tendency to be absent minded in defense when the offense breaks down

4. Kai Sotto was surely missed (biggest what if this year)

5. We had no answer to their double teaming

Encircled some stats we can give extra attention to -

1. The efficiency of our big men! Both Junemar and Kai excelled offensively and defensively, especially through the firsr 3 quarters! Take that haters!!!

2. Salamat Brownlee! Our star player giving his all on both sides of the court! Noticed though that aged has caught up to him so he tends to pace his game, as we demand a lot from him obviously.

3. Free throws!!! Sobrang sarap na laging penalty and Latvia and we capitalized on that especially during the clutch!

Noticed also

*coaching instructions to give fouls to slow down Latvia's offense

*Finally, our PBA players have found the perfect formula for their physicality to be applied to the international stage

*Everyone's defensive efforts including: going for lose balls, altering easy baskets, and securing rebounds

Our waterloo though would be at the PG position. Although Dwight and Newsome did amazing jobs respectively, i'd have to point out that Latvia did poor scouting on our guards or the lack thereof. Sobrang late na sila nag full court press. Yehey haha

Also, sobrang galing ni Tim Cone dumiskarte ng fouls to give natin para tigil momentum ng kalaban! GOAT OF PH COACHING!

Just watched GG film (Netflix) and here are my thoughts -

Movie kinda lacks depth in the aspects of Family, Gaming, Real life struggles, School, and Relationships, and Reslience (which i think are the themes of the movie).

Just a tad more focus on the gaming subject and casting (games played, gaming personalities casted and shown) and this would level up in terms of entertainment value.

BUT

The movie definitely did not fail to TOUCHED MY HEART, INSPIRE MY DREAMS, AND REIGNITE MY PASSION! Not just in excelling in video games but as a son who tries to appreciate and acknowledge his family's love and support together with the opportunities that life has given me!

May mga scenes na di ko napiligang umiyak kasi naka relate ako 100% and it refreshed me of how supporting most people are around me. (THAT ENDING GOT ME NGL)

This movie also reaffirms my ideals that gaming is not just about being talented. It's also about facing insurmountable obstacles, having work/school/life balance together with maintaining and nurturing relationships. A takeaway is that di naman kailangan minsan mamili, minsan pwedeng pagsabayin with the right mentality.

Kudos to the message of the film and kudos to gamers and their families who support this kind of passion.

As the movie has shown, anything in excess, whether gaming, school, family love and control, can lead to self harm and tainted relationships.

Always take it easy pag nasasaktan at nakakasakit and always have a Good Game im life! 😁

JUST FINISHED Baki Hanma vs Kengan Ashura

Here are my thoughts how i felt watching

1. Nostalgic - all of the characteristics and skills of each of the fighters were reasonably showcased (non fans would find it weird i'm sure)

2. Cool soundtrack and Animation - considering the two series had a different attacks on each of these

3. Plot holes - though explained, i think the biggest question was "Why just now? Why not go after these fighters you've known for so long ASAP?"

4. I think the general idea of the "Film" was to serve as a teaser and hype material for a possible serieis of films or episodes depending on how well it's received

Overall, though a bit rushed, it was enough to hook me in as you'll feel the creators of this collab really used the source/s faithfully blending both animes into one meatball of muscle, steroids, bodybuilding, martial arts, and alpha male bravado 😆

Looking forward to the next chapter/episode!!!
