Here are some cases that Meta is facing in different parts of the world:

1. In the Philippines (May 2023):

A journalist from Cagayan de Oro City, along with a group of lawyers, filed a complaint against Meta.

They accused Meta of not adhering to data subject rights by refusing to provide information about users behind defamatory posts against the journalist.

The complaint was filed with the National Privacy Commission in Manila.

2. In the Philippines (June 2024):

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) met with Meta Philippines to discuss the proliferation of Facebook accounts used for selling babies online under the guise of legal adoption.

The DSWD requested Meta to take immediate action to stop these illegal activities.

3. In Japan (May 2024):

Yusaku Maezawa, a Japanese billionaire, filed a lawsuit against Meta.

He complained about the use of his name and image in fraudulent investment ads on Facebook and Instagram.

According to Maezawa, scammers used his likeness without permission to deceive people.

4. In Europe (June 2024):

Meta and Apple are facing cases under new European Union (EU) regulations.

These regulations aim to curb the excessive power of large tech companies and provide more opportunities for smaller competitors.

It is also a step to give users more choices regarding digital services.

These cases highlight the various challenges Meta is encountering, ranging from issues of privacy, regulation of online platforms, to fraud on social media, "Mark Zuckerberg, it's time to remove Meta from Facebook.

I sincerely apologize for not being active on my page lately. However, I have lost motivation due to the frustrating experience I have had with Meta’s review process. It has been more than a year, and my Steam ad is still under review with no response.

As a content creator, I invest my time, effort, and resources into my work, just like many others. It is extremely disheartening to see that small creators are often overlooked and not given the attention we deserve. We put in the same effort as larger creators, using our own data, energy, and dedication, yet we face endless delays and lack of support.

If my ad does not meet the requirements, then at least provide an answer so that I can take action. But keeping it under review for over a year without any update is completely unacceptable. This is exactly why many small creators feel discouraged.

I sincerely hope that Mark Zuckerberg sees this and considers making significant changes. Meta must prioritize fairness and responsiveness toward all creators, regardless of size. We all work hard to grow our platforms, and we deserve better.

I still hesitate to delete my page because of all the effort I have put into it. But experiences like this make it difficult to continue. I truly hope that Meta takes action to improve the system and support small creators like myself.

To Meta,

Thank you for granting star monetization for a year. However, I must express my frustration and disappointment. After being a creator for an entire year, you’ve only given me star monetization. What about stream ads? Why are you holding back on providing opportunities that we, as creators, deserve?

It’s disheartening to think that favoritism might be at play. Are those of us who cannot afford to pay for verification simply overlooked? This feels unfair and discriminatory. We creators all work hard to produce content and engage our audiences. Yet, it seems like opportunities are reserved for only a select few.

Meta, your system feels broken and unjust. When Facebook was still in charge, creators were treated with more fairness and care. But ever since Meta took over, everything seems to have fallen apart. Many aspiring creators started their journey with so much hope, but because of your flawed system, their efforts have gone to waste.

Mark Zuckerberg, if by any chance this message reaches you, I urge you to reevaluate Meta’s management. The current system is failing us creators. Please, take action and restore fairness and opportunity for everyone in this community. Creators deserve better.
