Throughout the year 2025, the world had a whirlwind of events. Across nations, people endured different issues and challenges—from typhoons and earthquakes to political crises.

They faced a lot of setbacks and struggles. However, the year 2025 taught them how to stand their ground, to be resilient, and to live— not just survive.

As families replace their old calendar, a new chapter unfolds. A new story awaits to be made.

Let this year be filled with strength and courage to face challenges, wisdom to make better choices, and healing from the scars of past struggles.

As we take a new journey for this new year, may we carry the lessons we learned from the yesteryears. Let us allow change shape us for the better.

Leadership is strongest when guided by experience, kindness, and a genuine heart for the community. Our school head, Ma’am Marilyn M. Ligon, embodies this balance with grace. With years of wisdom behind her, she stands firm for peace and order, yet remains approachable, warm, and deeply understanding.

Despite being surrounded by a younger generation of teachers and staff, Ma’am Ligon blends in effortlessly. She keeps the atmosphere light, knows when to be fun, and never lets authority overshadow humanity. Her presence reassures, her laughter uplifts, and her kindness leaves a lasting mark on everyone she works with.

Today, we celebrate her birthday and honor a leader who makes work feel lighter, voices feel heard, and the school feel like home. Wishing Ma’am Marilyn M. Ligon good health, joy, and many more years of meaningful leadership and shared smiles.

‎"Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful." – Norman Vincent Peale.

‎For us here, Christmas magic sparks on the first day of September, and carols suddenly fill every street corner. Children begin practicing their caroling songs early, coming together in groups to polish their harmonies. In a moment they’re ready to knock on doors with their tansan, bringing cheer to every home they visit.

‎At the heart of this festive build-up is Simbang Gabi – or Misa de Gallo, the 'Rooster's Mass' – nine pre-dawn masses that draw communities together under the warm glow of parols, where worshippers sing and pray as the sky lightens, then head out to fill their stomach with fresh bibingka and p**o bumbong from street vendors.

‎ Noche Buena is the perfect moment when the whole family gathers around a feast of fresh bibingka, lechon belly, and ensaymada. Plates are passed, stories are told, and laughter fills the air until midnight comes. In that moment with loved ones, we realize Christmas lies not in presents, but in the joy of sharing the night together.

“The purpose of education is to teach one to think deeply, not simply to agree.” This is something Ma’am Kate Bataller lives by in every class she handles. As a guidance counselor and an ESP/Values Education teacher, she is known for asking questions that do more than fill the silence — questions that itch, challenge, and push students to think twice. What often begins as a simple discussion turns into a thoughtful exchange of ideas, and sometimes, a healthy debate.

Easygoing, kind, and always smiling, Ma’am Kate balances firmness with understanding. She listens with an open mind and respects every perspective shared, creating a space where students feel safe to speak honestly and think critically. Her lessons go beyond right or wrong answers and focus more on reflection, values, and growth.

Today, we celebrate her birthday and wish her joy, strength, and more meaningful conversations ahead.

The Filipino language is more than just words and grammar—it is a culture, and identity, and the heart of the Filipino people. Ma'am Charlotte Panganiban shows her students how Filipinos live their daily lives in a humorous manner. She transforms every class into a safe space where students feel heard, valued, and inspired to grow.

To her students, she is more than just a teacher as she is also their mother. She pays attention to the little details that oftenly left unseen and gives well-deserved praises that boost confidence and motivates hard work. She continues to shape kinder students as well as proficient language users.

The Hyperlink wishes Ma'am Charlotte happiness, good health, and many more years of teaching students with never-changing warmth and love that make her genuinely remarkable as we celebrate her birthday today, December 19.

In a world shaped by technology, it is a privilege to learn from a teacher who guides with clarity, patience, and genuine enthusiasm. Sir Jeffrey Alarcon, or Sir Jeff as we fondly call him, brings a thoughtful mix of skill and humor into every ICT lesson. His lessons come with playful ‘dad jokes’ and answers that are never given directly, which means students truly have to think, search, and figure things out on their own.

Beyond the jokes and the brain-teasing hints, Sir Jeff remains one of the kindest teachers around. He is hands-on, patient, and always willing to guide us through codes, tasks, or the occasional tech confusion. His teaching reminds us that growth comes not just from knowing, but from trying.

Today, we celebrate his birthday and wish him laughter, good health, and more days filled with the same warmth and energy he brings to his students. Happy birthday, Sir Jeff!

Education becomes more meaningful when guided by someone who teaches with clarity and genuine care — and Ma’am Jean-Annarie Adriatico, or Ma’am Ken as we fondly call her, is exactly that teacher. A dedicated MAPEH mentor, she explains lessons with detail and patience, making everything from music to health feel both manageable and engaging.

Ma’am Ken is also our resident “keen” observer — the one who notices everything, especially during quizzes. Her sharp eye doesn’t stop there. She is famously strict when it comes to classroom cleanliness, proving that discipline is just as essential as artistry and rhythm. Her presence brings order, her kindness brings comfort, and her aura makes it easy for students to feel at ease.

Beyond the lessons, she shows real care. She is the type who sends us home first before she even packs up her things. Supportive, patient, and always mindful of her students, Ma’am Ken guides us not only in academics but in becoming better individuals.

Today, we celebrate her birthday and wish her joy, strength, and more bright moments ahead, as bright as the warmth and dedication she brings to her classroom every day.
