Boluntaryong Pusong Hinubog ng Busilak na Kalooban

Sa bawat hampas ng alon sa baybayin ng Capiz, may isang pangakong ‘di matitinag, at may paglilingkod na walang hinihintay na kapalit. Isang pagkakataong maharlika ang ibinigay ng Philippine Red Cross - Capiz Chapter sa isang pusong nag-aalab sa pagtulong. Isang pagsibol ng bagong pag-asa, isang apoy na patuloy na sisiklab sa kadiliman ng pangangailangan. Sa bawat patak ng pawis at dugo ng mga boluntaryo, nakaukit ang diwa ng pagkakawang-gawa, tinig na humihiyaw sa gitna ng trahedya, at bisig na sumasalo sa mga lugmok sa pagsubok ng buhay.

Ang pagiging nominado bilang isa sa mga Board of Directors ng Capiz Red Cross ay hindi isang hamak na karangalan kundi isang panatang nakatatak sa puso—isang pangakong titindig sa harap ng bagyo, susuong sa baha ng kawalan, at yayakap sa bawat nalulumbay sa dilim. Ang diwa ng pagiging boluntaryo ay tila ilaw sa malawak na karimlan, isang bituing naglalagablab sa kalangitan, na siyang handang gumabay sa mga nawawala. Walang salapi o gantimpala ang makatutumbas sa init ng pusong tumutulong, sa ligayang hatid ng pag-abot sa nangangailangan, at sa pag-angat ng dignidad ng mga mahihina at api.

Sa ilalim ng pulang bandila na kumakatawan sa diwa ng Red Cross, isang bagong kabanata ang isinulat sa kasaysayan ng paglilingkod. Ang mga bagong halal na Board of Directors ay tila mga mandirigmang hinubog ng pagsubok, tangan ang pangarap ng isang bayang ligtas at may pag-asa. Ang kanilang panunungkulan ay isang sining ng sakripisyo, isang musika ng kabayanihan na aalingawngaw sa bawat sulok ng lipunan. Ang bawat kilos, bawat hakbang, ay tila isang pag-indak sa himig ng malasakit at tila nakakahalinang pagsayaw sa ritmo ng pagtutulungan.

Mula sa diwa ng isang tunay na boluntaryo, ang pangako ay mananatili: “Laging una, laging handa, at laging naroon. Sa mga bagong lider ng Philippine Red Cross - Capiz Chapter, ipagpatuloy ninyo ang paglalakbay sa landas ng kabutihan. Magningning kayo tulad ng bituin sa madilim na langit, magpugay sa diwa ng pagkakawanggawa, at ipagdiwang ang di matatawarang kapangyarihan ng sangkatauhan. Mabuhay ang Red Cross! ✅ Review your Academic Program choices (First, Second, and Third) and their corresponding GRADE and GWA CUT-OFFs. Ensure your GWA and grades (as shown on your Report Card and indicated on your Applicant Portal) QUALIFY for the programs you are applying for.
✅ Ensure you are applying at the CORRECT CAPSU Campus (especially for your FIRST CHOICE).
✅ The FRONT and BACK pages of your report card should BOTH be uploaded and must show COMPLETE and CORRECT information based on the sample indicated on the Application Portal and presented below.
NOTE:
- If all the needed information can be found in one page of your report card, simply upload the page twice.
- Grades or GWA written using a pencil will not be considered valid.
✅ Information such as Name, Grade Level, School Year, etc. SHOULD BE CONSISTENT across all your application documents. (e.g. Grade 12, S.Y. 2024-2025 should be the same on both your Report Card, and Certificate of Good Moral Character)
✅ Ensure that your uploaded documents are legible and readable, and that they are framed and oriented correctly.

𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗦𝗨 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗘𝗔-𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀

Capiz State University Pilar Satellite College held a warm welcome program for the SEA-Teacher Student Exchange participants. Faculty, staff, and special guests attended the event to greet an inbound student and visiting lecturers from Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), Indonesia. Monday, January 27, 2024, at CapSU Pilar, Gymnasium.

The program started with the Entrance of Colors, followed by an Opening Prayer and the national anthems of the Philippines and Indonesia. Dr. Eric Contreras, BEED Chairperson, gave a welcome message, sharing his excitement for the exchange program.

Dr. Jennifer P. Benliro, Satellite College Director, also gave a message, welcoming the guests and expressing hope for a strong partnership. In behalf of Mr. Benny Blancaver, Pilar Elementary School Head, Mrs. Rowena V. Anoche and Dr. Salvacion shared their thoughts on how the program could help students and teachers learn from each other.

The inbound student, Ms. Adinda Novi Ramadhani, thanked everyone and said she was happy to be part of the program. After this, selected students performed a cultural dance to entertain the guests. The university also gave a welcome kit to the visitors, handed by Dr. Benliro, Dr. Contreras, and Prof. Marc Raniel Nuñeza.

The second part of the program focused on learning and sharing ideas. Prof. Jay Ann Gregorio introduced the visiting lecturers. Then, Dr. Ima Windiyanah, M.Pd., from UNESA, gave a talk on “Harnessing Technology in Education: Tools and Technology for the Modern Classroom.” The lecture discussed new ways to use technology in teaching. After the talk, guests asked questions and shared their thoughts. This happened in the CapSU Pilar, Boardroom.

To show appreciation, CapSU Pilar gave a certificate and token to the visiting lecturers. Later, Dr. Salvacion J. Legaspi, VP for External and Alumni Linkages (EAL), talked about possible future projects between CapSU and UNESA.

The event ended with closing remarks from Prof. Marc Raniel Nuñeza, who thanked everyone for their support and hoped for more collaborations in the future.

The SEA-Teacher Student Exchange Program helps students and teachers learn from different cultures and teaching styles. CapSU Pilar is proud to be part of this program and looks forward to more partnerships.
