MY FIRST TRIP AROUND THE SUN - 17AUGUST2023

Mommy and Daddy told me that it was going to be extraordinary, unlike any other day I had experienced before.

As I looked around, I saw countless familiar faces, some of them are voices I had encountered a long time ago. But despite the bizarre ambiance, it was clear to me that the air was filled with an aura of anticipation and excitement.

People all around me wore wide smiles, their eyes lit up with joy as they caught sight of me. I'm struggling to understand the reason behind their happiness, but I couldn't help and feel a growing sense of warmth and delight.

Among the crowd, I noticed tiny humans immersed in pure enjoyment, their laughter ringing through the air.

The atmosphere was alive with enchantment - floating bubbles, classic rock music playing while a cascade of vibrant balloons danced overhead, and there was a guy who made things appear and vanish, the tiny humans liked it a lot.

As minutes turned into moments, a tune began to weave its way, harmonizing with the mingling voices of the assembled guests. Their gazes and warm smiles converged as they dedicated a heartfelt song to me.

Initially, I felt a sense of shyness, a momentary hesitation at being the center of attention. As the music enveloped me, a surge of energy coursed through my veins.

I decided to embrace the joy that surrounded me, letting the music guide my movements. I danced with a lightness in my heart, allowing the melody to carry me away on its wings.

It was then that I discovered the reason for this enchanting gathering – they were celebrating the day of my birth. The smiles, the laughter, and the festivities were all dedicated to the unique individual that I was.

And at that moment, as I basked in the love and happiness of the occasion, I realized that this was a day to cherish, a day that marked not only the passage of time but the connection between me and the world that surrounded me.

Existing in this fast-paced life, we forget to see the simplest but most effective way to take a break, calm our thoughts, slowly look around, and appreciate what mother nature has given us. Since you are reading this, maybe it’s a sign to drop your working hat for a day or two, and take a trip to a scenic spot where you can find yourself again. I was in search of a nature expedition with my boyfriend and a friendly outdoor park. Somewhere my dog can play around that won’t take up too much driving hours. I’m in my second trimester of pregnancy with our first baby, so we are very careful not to take it too far. The idea was to journey with my favorite souls and get away outside the city. I thought it would be a nice way to explore and create memories with my boyfriend, and the little one growing inside me. We received an invitation from mike, my boyfriend’s long time friend (very friendly and accommodating) to visit their eco park resort in Tanay, Rizal. Guess what? I’m pleased that we said yes! It was indeed a memorable encounter. The place was amazing, the weather was cold and it’s pet friendly! You can enjoy watching its impressive scenic view, while listening to their live music and appreciating the existence of people you love or simply just life itself. Doesn’t that sound like a good way to spend your valuable time? I can tell you that it was one of the best experiences, especially for a pregnant woman like me who’s been stuck at home for too long. We enjoyed taking a quick hike up to the mountain. We reached the top I couldn’t help but stop for a moment and admire everything I had laid my eyes on. In my head, I told myself that blinking was not an option. The curiosity I had about the history behind those tall old trees, the gentle cold breeze touching
