Alex's journey in animation has been nothing short of remarkable, a dynamic and experienced professional who has made significant contributions to the Philippine animation industry. With a diverse background and a wealth of skills.

🎯 Alex's career kicked off as an In-betweener, and wasted no time becoming an animator, gaining valuable experiences working on a wide range of projects, including TV series, specials, shorts, and feature films for renowned studios like Disney and Warner Brothers. His early exposure to these giants of the industry undoubtedly laid the foundation for his future successes.

🌍 His career took an international turn as he assumed the role of an Overseas Animation Supervisor for an Australian studio. His expertise and talent also led him to serve as an Animation Director for a Spanish TV series, demonstrating his adaptability and versatility in the world of animation.

🏆 A notable achievement in Alex's career was his role as one of two Creative Directors at the pioneering 3D Animation Studio in the Philippines. This groundbreaking venture into 3D animation showcased his innovative spirit and ambition to push the boundaries of animation in his home country. In this role, he delved into pre-production, engaging in tasks such as storyboarding for international Animated TV shows and Concept Character design for both an Independent Animated Feature and a Game Development studio.

Meet Joma🎨: Our Managing Director for Marketing and Creative Director 🌟

Joma is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Santo Tomas and the creative mastermind behind our artistic endeavors at Red Door Animation. Notably, Joma is the talented husband of Joey Santiago, an artistic duo that inspires and captivates.

Joma's artistic journey has been nothing short of remarkable, with his talents evident from a young age when his work dazzled audiences in the prestigious Shell Arts Competition of 1989. 🖌️🏆

Following his educational pursuits, Joma embarked on a career at the Philippines' largest animation studio, where he began as a Clean-Up/In-Betweener and, with unwavering determination, climbed the creative ladder to become an Animator and, eventually, a Key Animator. 🎥🎬

Subsequently, he ventured into a new creative realm by joining a local studio renowned for producing Disney animated shows. Here, his artistic prowess shone brightly as he embraced the roles of Animator and, notably, Lead Animator. His indomitable spirit graced beloved projects such as Fox and the Hound 2, Kronk's New Groove, and even made a mark with his contributions to Character Animation for King Triton in Little Mermaid 3. 🧜‍♂️🦊

Yet, Joma's creative horizons extended beyond animation. He delved into the realms of design and storyboarding, crafting captivating visual narratives for advertising agencies and local cinematic gems. Notably, he played a crucial part in a team that breathed life into an animated feature, nurturing it from initial design concepts to the enthralling world of storyboards for an Independent International Producer. 🎨📽️

His artistic tapestry expanded further as he took on the role of a senior 2D Concept Artist in a Game Studio, igniting the imagination with Fantasy-Themed concept art for an eagerly awaited online gaming sensation. 🎮🌌

Now, as our Managing Director for Marketing and Creative Director at Red Door Animation, Joma Santiago brings his boundless creativity and passion to redefine our artistic landscape. 🌟 Meet Joey : Our Managing Director for Admin and Production 🚀

🎓 Joey's journey began at the University of Santo Tomas, where she earned her degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Advertising.

🚀 She then embarked on an incredible animation career, starting as a CleanUp/In-Betweener at the Philippines' most prominent animation studio. Her path was paved with iconic series like The Flintstones, Tom and Jerry, and other Hanna-Barbera classics, eventually leading her to the role of Animation Checker.

🌟 Following her tenure at the studio, Joey took a leap into the world of Disney-affiliated animation. There, she fine-tuned her skills while contributing to beloved shows like Kim Possible and Teamo Supremo.

🌎 Joey then transferred to another animation studio wherein she expanded her horizons even further, working on a wide array of international projects. She honed her expertise as a Retakes Animation Checker/Supervisor and continued her ascent, quickly became the Production Manager, responsible for overseeing 2D Traditional, 2D Flash, and Toon Boom Harmony-based Animation productions and ultimately becoming in charge of the studio's QA (Quality Assurance) Department.

🔥 With a strong desire to embrace new horizons and elevate her animation skills even further, Joey Co-founded our Red Door Animation, Inc. in 2015. Her passion and talent are the driving force behind our creative endeavors.
