PANOORIN: Nagpapatuloy pa rin ang mala-piyestang College Acquintance Party sa St. Joseph Gymnasium. Matapos ang masigabong yell mula sa iba't ibang departamento, naipakilala na sa mga freshies ang mga kinatawan ng Student Councils at mga Organisasyon.

Abangan naman mamaya ang tugtugan na hatid ng bandang Jam and Jelly sa mga manonood mamaya.

Inaasahang mapupuno ang St. Joseph Gymnasium sa halos 600 freshies na dadalo sa College Acquaintance Party ngayong araw, August 27, 2024 sa ganap ng ala-una ng hapon.

Kasama sa mala fiestang kasiyahan ang ibat’t ibang programa sa departamento ng kolehiyo kabilang ang BS Accountancy, BSBA, TEP, ABCJ, BSP, BSIT, and BSEntrep.

Sa pagtitipong ito, magkakaroon ng pagkakataon ang mga freshies upang magkakilala, magkaugnay-ugnay, at makisaya!

Ngayong ika-26 ng Agosto ginugunita ng mga Pilipino ang Araw ng mga Bayani bilang pag-alaala sa mga sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani para makamit ang kasarinlan ng ating bansa.

Ngunit alam niyo bang bago pa man makawala ang Pilipinas mula sa Amerika, ginugunita na ng mga Pilipino ang Araw ng mga Bayani? Noong 1931, ipinasa ng lehislatura ng Pilipinas ang Batas Lehislatura 3827 na nagtakda na tuwing huling Linggo ng Agosto isagawa ang selebrasyon ng Araw ng mga Bayani.

Maligayang Araw ng mga Bayani hindi lamang sa mga bayani noon, ngunit pati na rin sa ating mga makabagong bayaning nagsasakripisyo para sa kani-kanilang mga mahal sa buhay at sa mga makabagong bayaning nag-ambag upang mapanatili ang kapayapaan at kalayaan na hanggang ngayon ay ating pinapakinabangan, kaya't atin itong ingatan at ipaglaban.

Sa araw na ito, Agosto 21, 2024, ating ginugunita ang kabayanihan at sakripisyo ni Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino. Ang kanyang marahas na kamatayan ay nagsilbing mitsa sa pagwawakas ng mahabang diktadura sa ating bansa.

Kasabay nito, bigyan din natin ng pagkilala ang mga Pilipinong walang takot na lumaban at nagbuwis ng buhay upang ipaglaban ang ating kalayaan at magbigay ng bagong pag-asa para sa bayan.

Nawa'y ang mga dakilang sakripisyong ito ay magsilbing inspirasyon sa ating lahat na patuloy na ipamalas ang tunay na malasakit at pagmamahal sa ating kapwa at sa ating minamahal na bayan.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth—but that is not the kind of story I will be telling. It is a story about a century long wait for words to dance with elegance. A league of great writers that may have been prayed to the heavens yet existed because of a single ambition.

A river made out of poetry, an ocean of short stories. The golden years of literature in José Rizal University was finally witnessed and it is just getting started. Because of the triumph of The Crescendo in providing uncontested creative writing, I wish to give the Rizalian Community a final gift—a legacy building tradition known as 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐋𝐄 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 where every Chief Literary Editor carry the weight of writing something political, societal and exceptional, maintaining the literary mastery of its members at the same time, collaborating with organizations who share the same goal of creating something impactful.
