Hello everyone, James Wolfe (aka GN Santiago-Ochoa) here.

Since 2021, the MIXD brand has helped me establish a presence in the Filipino comics scene, having attended conventions like Komiket, Komikon, Super Manila, and even industry events such as the Philippine Book Festival and MIBF. The brand grew with other creators, and it was an awesome experience working with them. Because of MIXD, I was able to develop a friendly, healthy relationship with my then-clients, Julius Sempio and Maou No Sekai, and form Pulsar Press Comics —together with four more awesome creators—to become its foundation.

With this in mind, I believe that MIXD has served its purpose, and it is time for me to move on and establish my own brand for my works with my pen name. All creators who previously had works published under MIXD will now have new publishing deals with Pulsar Press. Therefore, I will be retiring MIXD, effective immediately.

Wolfe Studios will launch its first title, Amethyst Legends, in 2025. This is a collaboration with Atomos: Publications Team under the Science & Sorcery imprint. The MIXD Comics page will remain online but will no longer be updated, save for sharing posts from Pulsar Press and its affiliates.

Originally conceived as a trilogy, "Forsaken Guardians" has been transformed into a single, definitive volume. As announced at our noontime segment at the Philippine International Comics Festival - MIXD Comics will become part of Pulsar Press Comics together with Atomos: Publications Team , Maou No Sekai, KMX and RAYKOSEN as one publishing "super collective". These respective, separate brands will be fully autonomous and will operate in concert with Pulsar Press while their individual heads will act as Pulsar Press' co-founders.

All titles under Pulsar Press Comics will continue to be creator owned, meaning all their creators will continue to retain media rights over their work and Pulsar Press will only provide promotion and distribution of the titles with non-creative interference. Our only condition with the creators is a non-explicit logo placement of Pulsar Press anywhere in the cover or back cover, signifying their alliance.

Having an all-encompassing brand eliminates confusion whenever the above mentioned entities wish to have individual tables/booths at events, meaning Pulsar Press can be used when all heads decide to be assigned to have their own combined section during events.
