When I read this book, I didn't know it would do such impact to me. I realized that being a gay and a le***an in the 60s was an effin' crime.

Yoou are disowned by parents.

You experience such public humiliation that results to self harm and other horrible things.

You are not able to express your feelings just because "you are not normal".

We still experience these nowadays. But hiding time is enough. It's time to LIVE WITH PRIDE.
