Our Story
Paulines Publishing House is an apostolic ministry of the Daughters of Saint Paul, a missionary congregation of religious sisters who serve the Church and proclaim the Good News through the communications media. Our congregation was founded on June 15, 1915 in Alba, Italy by Blessed James Alberione, a holy man whose prophetic vision and passionate love for the WORD of God propel the Congregation to always seek new ways and places to evangelize.
The Daughters of St. Paul set foot on Philippine shores in 1935 and eventually started the publishing apostolate in the country in 1952 with the publication of its first book, "Miss Filipina." Since then, we, at the Paulines Publishing House, are committed to dedicate ourselves to the service of the Gospel and cultures using all the means and languages of communication.
