Ibinahagi nila Scientist/Inventor Richard Nixon Gomez at ng kanyang anak, ang kapwa imbentor na si Rigel Gomez, ang kanilang kaalaman at eksperto sa agham at teknolohiya. Sa isang Joint Committee hearing na isinagawa sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), iprinisinta ng mag-amang Gomez ang mga metodolohiya sa pagkuha ng langis mula sa halaman ng cannabis. Ang diskusyong ito ay isinagawa upang makatulong sa pagsusulong ng mga patakaran para sa kampanya ng bansa laban sa iligal na droga.

Ang talakayan ay nakatuon sa mga crude o cottage-level na pagproseso at pagmamanupaktura ng cannabis oil. Masusing pinag-usapan ang mga clandestine laboratory ukol sa pagconvert ng ma*****na buds na ginagawang cannabis oil. Ipinakita rin ang mga materyales at kagamitan na gamit sa bahay o mga bagay na maaaring mabili sa mga supermarket na maaaring gamitin sa pag-manufacture.

Mahalaga ang kaalaman na ito upang maging handa ang ating mga tagapangasiwa at tagapagpatupad ng batas sa pagtukoy ng mga posibleng pamamaraan na ginagamit ng mga kriminal. Tinalakay din ang mga testing sa laboratoryo para sa pag-validate at pagsusuri ng cannabis.

Ang BauerTek Farmaceutical Technologies ay isang FDA approved manufacturing facility na maaaring gumawa ng mga gamot at supplements. Nakikipagtulungan sila sa iba't-ibang ahensya ng gobyerno at mga State Universities sa pagsusulong ng community-based supply chain.
