Suki, alam mo ba na ngayon ay 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆? Marami sa atin ang naapektuhan ng cancer ang mga buhay in one way or another. Ang araw na ito ay itinalaga para mag-raise ng awareness para sa prevention, early detection, at treatment ng matinding sakit na ito.

Kung ikaw o ang kakilala mo ay dumaranas ng mga pagsubok dahil sa cancer, know na hindi ka nag-iisa at hindi ka pinababayaan ng Diyos. Idulog natin sa Kanya ang ating mga saloobin, at hayaan na punuin Niya tayo ng kapayapaan na nagmumula lang sa Kanya. Sa araw na ito, at sa bawat araw, ang biyaya ng Diyos ay laging sapat. Magtiwala tayo sa Kanya.

Today, we observe 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆. Sa araw na ito, 80 years ago, natapos ang halos tatlong taong pananakop ng Imperial Japan sa Pilipinas. This day also marks the beginning of the month-long Battle of Manila–one of the bloodiest and costliest urban conflicts in Philippine history, with at least 100,000 civilians dead. Yung napanood mo nitong huli sa 𝘗𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘳𝘢𝘸? Ito ang tunay na kwento ng mga kaganapan ng madidilim na araw na iyon.

Kaya sa araw na ito, kung meron ka pang lolo at lola na nabuhay noong mga panahong iyon, ipadama mo sa kanila ang pagkilala at pag-aruga. Alamin at basahin ang mga kwento ng mga taong nagbuwis ng buhay noong panahong iyon para ma-enjoy natin ang kalayaan na meron tayo ngayon. On this day, Liberation Day, let us remember the fallen and honor their memory with a life that serves others and upholds the freedom we now treasure.
