Celebrating 16 years ago when this little music video made for next to nothing was one of the very first personal projects done at Creation Station. We volunteered to shoot the Greyhoundz music video for their song “Karmic”. Greyhoundz somehow got Mylene Dizon to be the female lead. Shot in two days using a Sony DSR200 fixed lens (look that up!😁). The chaotic shoot was in Dangwa and a tiny studio in Makati became Reg’s apartment. I wrote and directed it with Jet Bofill as DP. If you watch closely, there are many opm pinoyrock cameos. It was a finalist at the then NURock awards for best music video. And did its rounds on MTV Asia. For us, it was really just an excuse to shoot a shortfilm. Whenever I watch it, I remember the exhiliration of being creative on the fly. Finding many unplanned shots, setting up sequences in mere minutes, and trying to make it as punk as possible. Those were the days! —jason isip
